I learned that certain Lego pieces will eventually pass through the digestive tract of a 4-year old boy.

What a delightful surprise!

How about you?

I learned:
the volume button on my stereo is fun for toddlers to crank up all the way to see how high they can make daddy jump when he hits the power button.
I learned:
That you should never let your young son hold a wrench while you work on your motorcycle, unless you enjoy having to re tighten and re true the rear spokes.
I learned:
that if it is on the floor it must taste good and therefore is fair game to be put into the mouth.
I learned:
when changing diapers on a little boy, they aim high.
I learned:
never, ever, pass up a chance for a hug from a child. They grow into big boys too fast, and the hugs get fewer and farther between.
I learned:
My little boys are grown now, but Grandsons are fun too!!!!

I learned to duck when changing my son's diaper after having two girls first, and that as soon as he was out of diapers, he had no problem peeing in the first convenient place. The worst was hearing that oh so unmistakeable sound of the splatter of pee. It was in a floor model toilet at Sears. People were laughing so hard I just grabbed him and ran for the door. I also learned that their teenage mouths may not be as wicked as a teenage girl, but it cuts deeper. He is past all that now, and is proud to be called a Mama's Boy. He also gave me my only granddaughter, as my girls seem to only have boys.

LOL that is too funny !

With 5 boys, I have learned alot !! lol

~freshly pained walls *scream* write on me with permanent marker!
~ceiling fans and balls do NOT go together
~ the amount of milk one of those *cuppy's" hold can cover half the living room when tossed
~ anything they can get up on becomes a jungle-gym
~ nothing is safe when they decide to *build* a playhouse!

that's just a few off the top of my head..LOL but I wouldn't trade 'em for the world!! There's never a dull moment around here and we love every noise we hear!! LOL

That peeing off the front porch is just a ritual that all little boys have to go through to be like their daddies....only in the South!!!! Also, I learned that if my son had not been born, I would have had a very boring and sad life... my son is nothing but pure joy to his dad and me.....

Edit: Great answer Randy C (below)...made me smile....

I learned that bobby pins used as anal thermometers will also pass. God bless those young ones who play doctor!

Three year old males can also be attracted to women,
which was a surprise to me!

I learned that boys pee is very corrosive to the metal hinges on toilets seats. ( just went through 2 in 6 months, changed to plastic.)
Also that some boys are just as sensitive as girls about certain things.
And that big brothers are VERY protective of their little sisters.

I learned that no matter how much you wash them, they just do not stay clean. My sons are 1 and 2, and look like I do not bath them half the time. They both love to sit outside in the dirt and sandbox.
