I have a blood problem and have been on the bc pill for 7 years. My boyfriend and I have been having sex for 2 1/2 years and haven't been using condoms for over a year. In the last 3 years, I've never missed more than 6 or 7 pills at the most and I just double up. Last month my period was a day late and then it was light for a day. Then I got a BAD pain in my lower stomach, it got heavy for about an hour, and then I spotted for a day. I took 3 pregnancy tests and they all came back negative. This month, it was almost a whole day late and I just spotted once a TINY bit on a tampon and then I've done nothing else. My periods are ususally only from Wednesday morning to Friday night. It's Thursday morning and that's all I've done, but my stomachs been hurting. In the last 3-4 months, there was once when I fell asleep before I took my pill but I went ahead and took it the next morning. I'm only 17 and about to start my senior year in high school, I'm really scared and I don't know what to do

Sweetie you need to see your gynecologist. There are all kinds of other things that could be causing this and some could be serious. Maybe you just need a different pill or maybe you have an STD, but knowing is always better than imagining the worst so call your doctor's office now and get looked at.

IMO, you need to grow up. missing that many pills each time is not good for you body or not wanting to get pregnant.

if you dont want to be pregnant, use a condom as well..

missing that many pills, whether doubling up or not, you have a higher chance of being pregnant.

i would talk with doc and maybe change your birth control to the shot!

your messed up because you keep doubling your pills. take them as soon as you wake up in the morning put them right beside your bed with a drink and take your pill before you get up. see your doctor about the patch or the shot as well, take a pregnancy test too

most likely your body is alittle confused from the hormones. if you took a test and it came back negative it is probably nothing to worry about.
