My daughter holds her head a little but she doesnt have control of it. She is 8 days old.

It is different for each kid. A good book to keep you up on the types of things to expect and when expect them is: What to Expect in the First Year by Heidi Murkoff, Sandee Hathaway, and Arlene Eisnberg.

My daughter did for a little bit right after she was born - no kidding. But she got better head control when she was about 2 months or so.

At birth, but they had little control until about a month old.

every baby is different. Mine was holding her's fairly well when she was about 3 weeks old. And around 3 months she was flipping herself over and holding her head perfect.

he did it right away when he was born. but for a longer period of time i would say a month.
