To everyone who chose to become pregnant. (ie, the growth in your uterus isn't an accident) did you ever put any thought into not having the child for the sake of reducing overpopulation?

Nobody ever brings it up but almost every modern problem in society can be linked directly to overpopulation. Most directly would be poverty.

Just a thought.

My father just passed away on the 8th of June. Hardest thing I have ever done, he passed in his home and I was with him as he went. (after a 3 yr battle with cancer) I want to honor and remember him by using his name William. I really like the name Logan William. What do you think? He was so excited to see his first grandchild. I feel like he would be very proud to have his name included in the baby's. What do you think? Thanks oh I am 29 weeks and were sure its a boy!

I see all these "Am I pregnant?" "Can you get pregnant from so & so?" and the topper "How do people get pregnant?" At least once a year since 4th my son has brought home a permission slip for the sex-ed program. Something tells me it's not working very well. Anyone agree?

I have a friend who isnt very well educated and i want to help her go back to school after 2nd baby?she is 17 and dropped out when she got pregnant. there is free daycare available in our area for teen mothers and there is programs to help her such as kvcap. how do i suggest things without being offending. i just want to help her so in the long run she and her children will have a better life

My daughter has asked me when her son can start drinking cows milk and when can she stop boiling water for drinks.
I believe it is best around a year old, but with each new generation they seem to change the way things are done

This might be a stupid question, but I nanny for a 6 year old girl who seems to always be hungry. She isn't fat or anything but I am afraid to give her too much food cause I don't want her to get fat. She is always asking for a snack even after she has eaten her entire lunch. coming to your house, if you've smoked in the last half hour, they will refuse to come into your home. well i am a smoker so is my hubby, so tell me?, when the gas/electricity meter reader comes to my home, do i let him in if we have smoked in the last half hour?. or is it only the public sector employees, whos lives are more important. well sorry next time any one comes to read my meter and i've had a cigerette, i will tell them. "sorry i cannot allow you to enter, smoke in the air,and whats bad for social/council workers is bad for you to, ask your company to make an appointment,"no offence meter reader, but your just as important as the next man". discrimination is what i call it. is there such a thing a job/careerism?

Ok, so this is our first baby. : ) My husband's family and extended family is KNOWN for boys. Since the sex of the baby is determined by the man's chromosomes, what's the chances that we can have a girl? weir situation i know.. i think that if my girlfriend got pregnant from this scenario that would be a miracle.. or she cheated..
so here it goes:... like 2 weeks ago we went to the movies (i masturbated like i dont know 3 hours before and i took a shower, so no worries rigth? and i also pee) but then she started to touch my penis over my underwear, i did have some precum because she said that i was wet (she never touch the precum directly) .. then like i dont know 5 minutes later he put her finger on her mouth.. This vaccine is controversial because it is designed to be given to girls before they become sexually active, ideally around 12-13 yrs age.
Some critics have argued that vaccinating against HPV might promote sexual promiscuity.

I have a very good friend whose mum recently sadly passed away age 42 from cervical cancer (it was a remission- she lived another 2 years before passing)- her daughter 21 is obviously at high risk too.
I think all women should have the injection- regardless of notions of promiscuity or such moral dilemmas or any medical risks for that matter. For me better- alive and sinning than dead and virgin pure.

If it were available now I'd push my friends' sister to the Doctor right now- tie her up if I had to.

What about you- what are your thoughts?

I am 34 years old, my husband is 30. We got married three years ago. In the past year or more he is making it clear he wants to be a parent, even though I have expressed my objections to having kids.

I don't hate kids, I love my sibling's kids, and I love to visit and buy gifts. However I don't have patience when I am around them for real long periods of time. I don't want to carry a child (I have just lost 70+ pounds and am starting to enjoy my new body), or really take care of one. They are also extremely expensive to care for.

I like our lives the way it is. We can afford to go out to eat and buy new toys now and again. If we have any children our income will be extremely stressed. I don't think he really realizes this.

He has also not wanted or initiated real intimate moments for a long time, and when he says he does, he specifically says, I want kids, which is a real turnoff for me. I have suggested counseling, but he refuses to go, saying he doesn't have a problem.

My oldest brother and his wife just had their 1st baby boy they live In cali Our family lives in Texas. They pretty much have everything they need 4 the baby and are bringing the baby to texas in September (he will be 4 months by then)

Everyone in the family of course wants to have a party to welcome the new family home .I am his only sister so I am hosting the party for my brother & his wife. However they are flying in and cannot take back lots of presents ...

I know everyone wants to give them gifts (they keep calling ME) but I don't know how to tell them the baby pretty much has everything he needs, which I have tried to do .

i'd like to throw a gift card shower ya know? or maybe just a welcome home /christening party no gifts required (noting on the invitation they cannot take too many things back with them) OUR FAMILY IS HUGE if everyone gave something there's no way they could travel with it all.. what do you suggest i do ?

I just have a few questions, hopefully someone can help answer them for me!!! I had a c-section on Friday the 15th, and i was wondering how long do you bleed? like vaginal bleeding when does that stop?

Did you experience any swelling in your ankles and legs?

My OB removed the staples 2 days after the section and put steril strips on the incision, does it feel better when i remove the strips? They are suppost to come off on monday.
