I'm actually on my wife's account, since I didn't find the necessity in making a new one just to ask this question.

My son is 12 years old, and during recent psychological and medical evaluations, no problems or issues were found. His attitude is abominable. I asked him to take out dishes from the dishwasher, and he kept refusing to. I walked up to him, looked at him, and said "I am telling you to put the dishes away!" He then spat in my face. He did this just an hour ago, and I sent him to his room, where he is now. How can I curtail this behavior? My wife is having problems, and so am I. I am at my wit's end. How would you have reacted?

Not sure of the sex yet , but if it's a boy , we want to name him Carlos (after my grandfather) , but we can't think of a middle name ! any suggestions ? -- Last name is Pacheco if that helps ! thanks :)

I have tried everything possible to get him to stop sucking his thumb....he only does it at night but i am afraid that it will result in him having teeth problems...like getting braces....but just want to know what to do.....i have tried hot sauces(the hottest i could find)...to the stuff they have for it called thumb....nothing has worked....Please HELP!!!!

I was pregnant, it was confirmed by 3 tests and ive been pregnant twice before I know what its like, but went to the doctor a week and some later and it was negative. Not too long after that I woke up with a lot of cramping and my back hurts badly. Was bleeding bright red, but now its turned a brown color and had small clots earlier in the day. All in one day it was bright red but now is brown and acts like its ending. I was 5 weeks pregnant. What is going on? Did I really miscarry my baby like I thought I had or was it implantation. I never had implantation blood or anything with my other 2 children.

I may have to have leep surgery or cryosurgery because they have found out I have the HPV virus while I'm pregnant even. After I have one of these procedures, is there a chance I may never be able to have another baby? I sure hope that is not the case, as I want to have other babies.

As an adolescent, I overheard mother (on the only occasion she used it) give my older brother two strokes of her leather belt.

My husband's colleague's wife is having a baby and we are invited to her baby shower. What is the appropriate gift to give? I don't want to spend more than $25-$30. I know we can give clothes,bottle, toys etc. I really want to give clothes. The problem is they don't know the gender of the baby and they don't have a registry. We have parental controls, we have a signed contract with our children about the use of the Internet, we have discussed the risks of and forbidden the use of MySpace, we limit the time frame and the amount of time they can be on the Internet. The computer they use to be on the Internet is in the main part of our home where we can monitor them. And yet I still find them divulging personal information that could lead a preidtor right to them. When I find this stuff (I am reasonably sure it is done thoughtlessly and not delibertly) I delete it, but I want to make them understand the risks and be safe without me looking over their shoulder. Any suggestions?

How does a woman's belly feel when she is pregnant? (1st Trimester only, please) I ask because my belly feels odd, hurts on one side, then it goes away, and hurts all over, but it's not severe. My last period lasted 32 days. I have gone to the doctor and they say everything looks normal. I am tired of this. I started my period when I was 11. I only had one or two periods a year. The longest period I ever had lasted 3 months when I was 15. I am 28 now and the periods are coming more often but they are still lasting at least 3-4 weeks. Has anyone else ever heard of this problem? I have changed my diet several times. Any time I start exercising regularly, I get a period right away. Do you guys think that is weird. Exercising has definitely helped how many periods I have a year, but the length is still too long. I do not know if I should bother trying to conceive. I heard that if you have long cycles, you do not ovulate.

Ok first of all Im not 13(this is my sisters account)
So what are the symptoms of pregnacy? I think I might be pregnant because I have vaginal fluid, bloating stomach, nausea and i go to the bathroom to much. Well his daddy is not with me anymore.....
And if I am, then I will take care of this baby and i dont care if his dad doesnt want him, thats why he has me. I have no right to take away the life of this baby, and if i give it for adoption I know I will regret so thats why I want to take care of this piece of joy. I know my parents will be upset but I know they will help me.
Please no negatice stuff, if i come here is for answers not opinions ok(not to be mean)
