I think it's fantastic as well. It lets people who are not ready to be parents give a child a life with those who are :)

Personally I think it's one of the most fantastic thing any human being on this world can do and that is bringing up a baby in love and care even though it's biologically not their child. But I do not think this must be given such importance, my idea of parents would be someone who loves me and cares for me through happy and rough times. Anyways adoption is one of the best act of love!!

Adoption is a very serious business. Pop stars are recorded as doing it frequently, and it looks good on paper, but they have all the assistance they need, nannies nursemaids babysitters etc. A friend of mine was desperate to have a child, and when it did not happen she and her husband adopted a little boy of about 4 years. He grew up to be a right royal pain and the way he treated his adoptive family was appalling he lied cheated and stole. I wonder if nature or nurture was responsible.

Adoption is 1 of the most selfless thing anyone can ever do, its always hard to bring up a child that isn't your own as there is no pregnancy/birth bond, but to give a child that might have had a bad start, through no fault of their own a second chance at a good life is amazing. if i had the money and a bigger house i would defiantly do it myself.
if your thinking about it, i say go for it.

You're right, it is fantastic! I've always admired people who are prepared to take on someone else's child and give them a great life in a loving family. There are so many children who need a stable, happy life and there should be more people who are prepared to do it.

That's what I am going through right now. I just had triplets about two weeks ago, but when I was five months pregnant we met a 18 year old who was not ready for a baby so we are adopting the baby It's great

Adoption is so awesome. We just had some great friends of ours adopt 3 children from Liberia. They had already had 3 girls and one adopted teenage boy. I had always thought that adoption was so wonderful, but something that was out of reach for us. But by seeing their example and seeing the miracle of finances they got through a variety or sources, it has made my husband and I start seriously looking into it. We are just pregnant with our 4th child and want many, many children, and as many as we can afford through adoption. God bless! www.myspace.com/allison729

I`m in the process of adopting from China. I have one biological son ,but couldn`t have more. Instead of trying fertility treatments I decided that there were already children born who needed a mother and I`m a mother who wants another child. It`s a long ,emotional journey and we`ve still got a long, long way to go.but my daughter is out there .............and one day I`ll bring her home.
