Pregnancy & Parenting - 12 February 2007

Has anyone ever experienced this. My husband has been the father to my current 5yr old son since he was born. We have been married for almost 2yrs and he wants another baby, but I have no desire at all. When we got married he said he wanted 2 kids, I said absolutly not but maybe 1 more. I was hoping as I got older, I am now 26 that the desire to have another child might grow in me, but so far nothing and he is making coments. I dont know if I should go to counseling or something, but I do not want to be pregnant or do the new baby thing again. I hope this does not make me a bad person, but has any other women expeirenced this or something similar cause I really do not know what to do. Luckily I have a little time cause when he does make coments he doesnt want to try to have the baby for atleast another 6-8 mnths, but I know the time will come quickly and I am freaking out. I love my husband very much. Please help...

TTC. My LMP was Jan.14 and I was ovulating or shown high LH surge on Jan29., Jan30 and less surge on Jan31. I used clear blue ovulation predictor tests on Jan 29 and Jan30. But used Walgreen's prediction kit on Jan31, shown a line close to the control line. We had intercourse all these days as well as on Feb.1. My period is varying from the time I am trying to conceive. I did HPT on Feb.7 and Feb.9 came out to be negative. Is it too early to test? Should I consider Jan31st as my date of ovulation or Jan30. I did not start my cycle yet if I consider Jan30 as my date of ovulation I am 13dpo if Jan31. I am 12dpo. I do not have any pregnancy symptoms and not stressed out but very very curious to find out the result. Should I test today or wait for another 4days to test it??? Thanks a lot in advance.

I am having contractions, they arent regular yet. But I called my doctors office anyways and they said it was fine if I went into labor now I am almost 37 weeks. I havent seen the doc since the friday before last so I dont know if I have dialated but he said he didnt want to check me cause if I aint dialated it doesnt mean I wont be dialated in a few hours. Anyways does anyone know of ways to help regulate the contractions...what can I do to make them regular if they are already coming a whole lot anyways?

Just wondering, my daughter is currently 16 months old, and I am now 4 months pregnant with my second child.Those that have had two kids, were you excited with the second as much as the first???
Is the wives tale true that your second labor is half the time of your first???

I am going to be 16 weeks pregnant when i go to have my ultrasound. is it possible that they would be able to tell me what i am going to be having? or would i have to wait longer?

i went off the pill, and a week later did a ovulation test, that was on a saturday and it was positive.... and on tues had intercourse in the afternoon and about 4 times at night..... i've been told that an ovulation test the LH Surge is the hormone right before your egg is furtile and releases, and you can get pregnant 1-3 days prior to a positive test depending on the woman and her cycle ... ) it has been a week and a day now since then and my nipples started hurting today, they are tender to touch and ive had different feelings in my back and uteral area (ache in the back and slight different crampage in my uteral area). Im pretty sure i've had a miscarriage before about 5 months back and my nipples felt quite similar when i thought i was pregnant the last time....what do you think my possibilities are? i guess i'll see but i would like some input to those who have gone through this or are educated.... thankyou ~!!~

I'm normally on a 24 day cycle and very regular now I'm on 33rd day. Could I be pregenant? When would I be able to test and find out?

Also he's moving soon across country and we are going to do a long distance thing, should I tell him now that theres a chance or wait until I find out?

Also how likely is it if he pulled out? (first time some seman got on outside of me)

My 8y/o son basically refuses to sleep in his own bed anymore. Back in October we moved into a new house. He helped "design" his new room and he has everything that he wants/needs. However, around the end of November, he started finding his way to my bed, after I'd already put him to bed in his.

So, I notice he's in my bed and I politely wake him up and take him to go back to his own bed. However, when I wake up in the morning...poof, he's back in bed with me.

What am I to do? Any suggestions?

I have been having contractions since 8 p.m. last night. I went to the dr this morning and he said I was dilated to 2.5 and had bloody show. This afternoon the contractions became regular every 10 minutes, but now, they have slowed down and become irregular again. This has been going on for 22 hours. Anyone know if it is real labor or not?

Went back to work when my son was 2 months old, I tandem pump every 4 hours for 10-15 mins (atleast 4 x a day). Was getting 6-8oz at a time up until last week. Now I'm lucky to get 2-4oz total. My son is still nursing 3+ x's during the evening and once in the early am and seems more than satisfied, but I'm not making enough expressed milk for his day care........I also have had a period every month...I thought I wasn't suppose to? Help!

My wife accidently dropped one of her birth control pill in the car last night and we couldnt find it so she didnt take it yesterday? What next? Does she take the one for today and continue like if nothing happened? or does she have to take two today? if so, what happens with the one she is suppose to take at the end of her pack? Plz help. I was asked, "What was the first date of your last menstrual period?" Is it A: asking for my first day of my last menstrual period? OR B: asking for my last day of my last menstrual period?

i swear i was like 2 sec away from beating a girl up at skool today. this girl has been bothering me since like 5th grade we are now in 8th. well today in history she said something really stupid so i said if u fuking say that again im gonna beat u up. she said there is no way i can beat her up. everyone that knos me knos i can beat her up and that im not afraid to either. i swear if this girl touches me again or says something that is really stupid to me then i will beat her up. how can i get this girl to leave me the *** alone before she gets hurt. cause i was so close to hitting her today but i didn't.

hi i have 2 daughters 20 months and 8 months i would really like another child soon would that be mad of me to do such a thing say get pregnant in like a year.
my 2 girls are a lot of work but i would like another(maybe a boy allthough it wouldent matter) and then be done with it raise my kids then go back to work and stay there without any pauses you no what i mean.
are there things that cant be done with 3 kids that you can do with 2 ect.
do any of you wish you just had only the 2 i want to no everything really also what sexes are they and how did they go in order thanks.
ps with some things i really no i want another baby and with others i am a bit hesitant so please help with you experience and opinions.

Hi my husband and i have been tring TTC for over a year now with no luck.We want so badly to have a child. I am taken metformin to control my insulin i am suppose to take 2000 mg a day but i take 3000 to 4000 mgs because i want so bad to be a mother and my husband to be a father i will do and try antthing.My husband will make a great father he is very careing and loving and gentle he loves my nieces and my nephew he is great with them and they love him dearly.When i see him playing with them i just stand there in amazement and ask god please help us please let us know the joy of raiseing and loveing our own children.I know i should be patient but i feel that we have been patient long enough.So if anyone out there can help us or give us some advise we will be greatfull to you.

I went to the doctor on friday and I am starting to dialate. Last night I had some really wierd pains and today I feel like I have been doing sit ups all day. It feels like I'm flexing it and cant stop. Is this a sign of labor or is the baby just giving my stomach a work out?
