First time I was already in labor, second time I was weeks away(but had been havgin pre-term contractions including a 2 day hospital stay since 20 weeks)

It depends on the person. Most last abt 8 hours and others last abt 24 hours after they looose their mucus plug. I lasted abt 16 hours.

Anywhere from a day to a week, depending on your body. With my last son, it lasted for about four days before I went into labor :)

well i actually didnt know it was my mucuc plug because it was coming out every day but the midwife told me that it doesnt matter if it comes out bit by bit but anyway i was loosing the plug for seven days and went into labour on the 8th day.
