Pregnancy & Parenting - 12 February 2007

Me and my fiance are trying for a child. We were interupted last night and he couldn't resume activities, so to speak. Today he left out of state and won't be back for a while.

The problem is that I was very fertile yesterday and today, but we are done trying this month.

My son is 14 months old. I have been giving him liquid vitamins, but am looking for an easier alternative. (He has learned to spit them across the room, and refuses any food items they are mixed in to) Any ideas? I have looked into the gummie vitamins but I think that he might choke on them. What Vitamins do you give your toddler?

MIght seem stupid but my cousin is also pregnant (I am 28 weeks and 6 days) and she said a couple people told her not to drink Gatorade while she's pregnant. Has anyone heard that or know anything about it?

my almost 2 mth old has been constipated since birth she has moved her bowels 1 time since shes been born i have been giving her enemas and suppositories. she had a barium enema and a possible biopsy the doc is testin for a disease that starts with an H im not sure of what this is or how its treated can someone please fill me in?

Well I have been in a comitted relationship with my boyfriend and we are taking our relationship to another level meaning sex. Well Im not of age right now to take care of children, so I don't want to get pregnant and have any kids. If i think i might be pregnant, should I stop taking my depression medication? I take Wellbutrin and Cymbalta.. I may only be a couple weeks pregnant... but I dont know what to do, because if i stop completely, I can have withdrawals and get sick. please help! =P

ok hi everyone i had my first injection of depo provera decmeber 15..my bf and i had sex on dec 11 the day my period ended..we used a condom of course...i was supposed to have my period on january 2 but all i had was pink cervical mucus disharge for that week..the next week it turned to white lotiony mucus and then it went to brown discharge..i took a home pregnancy test on january 16 NEGATive. I took another on january 24 and 26 both negative..then i took one jan 31, febraury 3 february 6 and february 9 then again on february 12..all have been negative. i was due for another af on january 28 i had light spotting and then it went to a light flow for the past two weeks ( it hasnt stopped yet) i have the little dark red blood clots that come along with your period..the only problem is i have gained 3 lbs already and i think my stomach is sticking out a bit. do you think i am pregnant or is it all the depo and all in my head??

It's time for our daughter to move into a "big girl" bed. My parents bought a "convertible" crib for our daughter as a shower present. Now that it's time to move her we looked at the instructions and it become a daybed or a headboard for a twin. We put it together like a daybed but from the top of the mattress to the floor it's about a foot and a half. It seems too high to me and I think we should get a youth/toddler bed but my husband thinks it's okay since she doesn't roll around much. Am I just being too paranoid? Does anyone else have any ideas from when they took their children out of the crib? Thank you for any advice but please keep negative and spiteful comments to yourself. This is our first child and we're trying our best but we have varying opinions on parenting.

How much do you pay a babysitter per hour?I have two familys that each have one child. and they pay me $5-9 dollars an hour (depending on the situation--time of day, mood of children, and if i eat there and if they need to be fed/bathed) to babysit their kids.Both of them are are 5 year old boys, and both of those children are two of the most well-behaved children i have ever met. Now i have another family that i babysit, with two girls(2 and 5) and they pay me about 4-6 dollars an hour. (also depending on situation) and these little girls are not so sweet. they are crazy, hyper, always bratty and mean to each other, dont listen, and many-a-times have locked me out while they are inside laughing and giggling. Some times they are good but they are very cute and i am very forgiving and i love kids. :) i am very happy with the pay from all of the families. and i was wondering if what i told you is about how much you pay people to babysit your children. i would really like some responses:D

For the past week or so I have been having pregnancy symptoms much like the ones I had with my son. Extremely naseau, fatigue, increase appetite, tender breast(in which I only experienced when I was pregnant). I was due to began my cycle on sat. I started spotting on friday very light, a little heavier or sat. sun very light and now barely anything. I usually have a five day cycle and my flow is alot heavier. I thought that maybe since I started a cycle that the symptoms I have been having would stop. Well they haven't. Could I still be pregnant?

am currently 31 weeks pregnant, and i really want to breastfeed, however i am just kind of perplexed on how id feel comfortable to breastfeed in front of anyone other than my boyfriend, or my mother... to me i just see my breasts as a personal part of my body, that i dont necessarily want ANYONE to see...even if it is for 1/2 a second...i especially dont want people that i know & have known for years to see my boobs im just not like that...did anyone else feel like this, or do you still feel like this?? what did you do about it? do you have any advise on how to deal?? i know that i can put a blanket over it, but i think to me it is more of an emotional (embarassment) type thing... has anyone else experienced feelings like this?

Why dose it seem that people want only kids that they birth or with their DNA? Adoption seems to be a last option if at all. We seem to be aspired to help animal shelter find home for animals then find kids (babies-teens) loving families. What should be first showing animals that they are loved or showing kids that they are loved and have worth?

Is it possible to be pregnant and not have spotting? Me and my fiance have been trying and my period hasnt come this month but I havent had any spotting. We took a pregnancy test and it came out negitive but it was 5 days before my period would have come so Im thinking that maybe it was taken a little to soon. Any ideas? My family and myself yell at each other, and even hit each other. We end up swearing, with a 6 year old, 8 year old, and 10 year old in the house. We really do love each other, we just get mad. Once I said I hated my family and wanted to leave. I love my family, but I don't know what to do!! Help please!!! This is even worse then it sounds!!
