Is it possible to be pregnant and not have spotting? Me and my fiance have been trying and my period hasnt come this month but I havent had any spotting. We took a pregnancy test and it came out negitive but it was 5 days before my period would have come so Im thinking that maybe it was taken a little to soon. Any ideas? Thanks to all those who can help.

not everybody does have implantation bleeding. this is my 4th pregnancy and the FIRST time i had it! yeah you COULD be pregnant....i never take a test till i'm a good 3 days late at LEAST. you CAN get a result as early as 5 days before...but it is so much harder to detect that early. you could still just be late too because of the anticipation. i'd wait till you are about a week late before you try another test! good luck to you both!

Both times I was pregnant I never spotted. I just missed my period all together. I took a pregnancy test when my period was due but it came out negative I waited a month until I did it again that way I made sure that I would have some pregnancy hormones. Also you should take the test when you first get up in the morning because your pregnancy hormone levels is the highest then. But if you can't wait a month then you could try the ept test because they say that it can detect pregnancy sooner than most of the other test. Or go to your doctor to get a blood test to be sure they are way more accurate than the urine test. Also the er can do them also just tell them that you are having an abnormal menstral cycle and they will more than likely do a blood test.

Most people do not have spotting when they are first pregnant. Spotting a few days after conception can be a sign of implantation, but it is definitely not a required sign. Spotting later in pregnancy can be a sign of trouble (though many women spot and go on to have healthy pregnancies.) I am 9 weeks pregnant and have not spotted at all.
Also, pregnancy tests often give false negatives when taken too early. To avoid a false negative, try to wait until at least a couple of days after your period is due; otherwise you will end up spending a lot of money on restesting!

I never had any spotting at all when I got pregnant. The only way I knew was my period was late and my boobs were super sore. I would take another test now that your period is late

Try taking another test first thing in the morning when you first urinate. Pregnancy hormones are highest in urine at this point. Tests are usually accurate up to 5 days before a missed period if you are using an early detection one.

I have not experienced any spotting while pregnant-no implantation bleeding. I took a test a day before my missed period and it was accurate. If you have missed your period then I think you should take another test.

nope, not everyone spots..but you should defently retest in about a week or two. sounds like you could possibly be pregnant, good luck and congratulations if you are pregnant.

you could be pregnant, but you could also be stressed out from trying...relax and it will happen. also the best pregnancy kit is the fact plus kit ...this is the closest to what they use in the doctors office
