I do that now...there are many people who do that. What you wanna do is find maybe low income apartments (some are actually really nice I dont live in one, cause I live with my fiance and he makes good money) but I have before and it was really nice and new and safe. Try to qualify for food stamps that will come in handy for beer money oh I mean pizza money. Any job will be good as long as you get good hours. Or get a room mate. Or live on campus. But you will be okay. It'll be scary and sad at first but you'll get through it. Also go to Fastweb.com to look for scholarships and grants for college so you save a LOT of money. Trust me. Just filling out a form I received $1,200 EVERY TERM for three terms. And plus scholarships. Try all of that! Good luck and e-mail me if you need anymore help or tips heres my e-mail addy Rgurule36@cnm.edu

Why you in a hurry to leave mom and dads house. If is not a bad situation stay until you are done with school. This will keep your mind at ease of bills and rent, food and so on. Keep your mind to your studies right now. You are still way young and should focus on school. If it is a bad situation and you have to leave just make sure that you are still paying attn to your school work and not partying all of the time. The best way to keep bills low is to have a roommate or two but this is always risky as your really never know someone until you live with them. I don't care how long you have been friends. You will end up on Judge Judy!!!

There is housing assistance at all colleges, go to the offices and look into it. A part time job doing anything can help pay the costs of living. Besides that, theres reasons why college folk have room mates, its cheaper to split rent between two or three other people than to go it alone.

Take out a student loan. It only takes a few weeks to get the money. Go talk to your financial aid office.

It is going to be really hard. Me and my fiance had a hard time getting on out feet to do that in the beginning. Full time work and school. Its really hard but if that is what you want to do to get out so be it.
