She is 7 years old.

Really really hates needles. The poor thing always freaks,and fights out.

Obviously i want her to get this done - as calm as she can be.

Will the phlebotomist be able to help calm her down ?

I am a 24 year old single dad and I find it hard to do some things with my 18 month old daughter with me all the time so it makes things difficult. I was just dumped by this girl that said i have issuses and i need help...i told her i dont think so...heres whats going on because its hard to do things sometimes and i just find it easier i take a shower with my daughter and she sleeps next to me at night come on i have a king size bed to myself lots of room. i know there is a age limit to how long i can keep taking a shower with her. was my Ex GF right or is it ok to do this i have no idea so thats why i am asking PLEASE HELP!!!!!

so yesterdayz me kidd jon comed home from skool n tolds me that some no good hooligan tolds hes principele thats he were smokeing on skool ground!!!!! hes principele finds jon n take away he only pak of malboro lite!!!!!! he send him to detention!!!!! jon say he done nothin wrong!!!!!! jon bout die befor he get 2 near shop n shop n pik up nother pack!!!! he want hes malboro lite back from principele but he not give it back!!!! it like he want to smokes it himself!!!! that steeling!!!!!! how dose i gets it back for jon??????????????????????????????????????????????

Can anyone pls let me know how to bathe my 5 month old baby.tillnow my mom used to bathe her puttin her onher legs..i willbe moving out tolive alone soon.intending to use a baby bath tub for him.Mom's pls suggest a good bathtub n the way to bathe him.

Just recently I witnessed a murder(it was reported to the police)and the murderer threatened to kill me when he gets out of jail. I have had lots of thoughts about death. Not anything about killing myself, but just actually thinking about what happens when people die. It also doesn't help that last summer my grandmother passed away.

My parents have brought me to a phycologist but I'm not sure it is helping. I have dreams where the murderer is coming to my home and breaking in, and then shoots me. This has been going on for about 3 months.

Please,if anyone has been through the same thing, HELP!

P.S. I am 12 years old.

I am asking for my friend.... She is 5 months pregnant and is having some issues with her ex. When she found out she was pregnant, he dumped her and wanted nothing to do with her. Now because she kept the baby, he has begun harassing her. Calling in the middle of the night repeatedly, after being told not to, and telling her that he was gonna have someone beat her up to make her lose the baby.. What can she do to get a restraining order on him, and do you thihnk it would stick?? Next, she has decided not to put his name on the birth certificate, since she don't want him anywhere near the baby, however he said that he is going to have a pat. test done and then have the baby taken away from her.. She is a wonderful sweet person. And will be a great mom, I know that he won't be able to take the kid, but can he make her do a pat. test??? Or can she refuse it??

She is 19 months and is ready. I know this because I take her with me to babysit two times a week and they don't have a crib for her so I let her sleep in a regular size bed and she goes right to sleep. Of course I surrond the edge that is not up against the wall with pillows but when I check on her she hasn't really moved everywhere to fall off the bed. So I'm wondering if I should get rid of the crib. I am debating on it because she could get scared or get up whenever she wants. So it's half out of convienence for me and have worrying about her. I am a very light sleeper, whenever she wakes up now I pop up out of bed. If I don't move her to the bed now I'll wait til June for her second birthday. Which is a better idea to do? Oh, another thing. I know they say to move a child to a bed when they can crawl out of the crib but what some people don't know is that there are a lot of babies that never crawl out and she is one of them. So I am not waiting to see if she does.

so last night i was at L&D for an unbearable back ache...it was hurting so bad I could hardly move. I wasnt feeling too many abdominal contractions though that I knew of. Last time I was checked was on Wednesday and I was 3cm, and 50% effaced. When they checked me last night I was still the same...no change since Wednesday. However, after checking me she said I had A LOT of bloody show....and I saw it...there was a lot. I was told to walk around for 30 minutes to see if it would change my cervix at all and when she checked me again in thirty minutes, I was still 3cm, so they sent me home with Vicodin for my back and ambien for sleeping. what does the bloody show mean? From all that I read in pregnancy books, labor usually kicks in within 24-48 hours after the show.....is this not right or has anyone experienced this before?

I have a mild genetic condition which affects eyesight. After a consultation with a genetic counselor, I found out that there is a significant possibility that my child could also have the condition, and even be born blind. I decided before getting married to use an egg donor and my husband has been supportive. Now we are getting ready to conceive. While it makes me a little bit sad , I confident about my decision and I think it is an ethical choice. My husband wants to have his own children (I want to have his children too!) that is why we have decided not to adopt at this point in time, although we may adopt children after having a few of our own.
My question is, should we share the decision to use an egg donor with anyone? Is this something socially taboo? I have told a few trusted people and I was suprised by their reactions. One said, "Why bother! Just go adopt babies." Another seemed extremely uncomfortable and started talking loudly. I am inclined now inclined to keep it secret

im nine weeks and yesrterday i started seeing blood, it's not as heavy as my period, but its more then implantaion bleeding. i also have been having cramps . there not normal thought. thank god. no i have not been to the doctors. im only 18 and i don't have the money at this time of the year. please don't yell at me for being 18. please help.
