My biological clock seems to be still ticking even though i have 3 kids already?Twin boys and a girl they are ages 13 and 11 yrs of age.I have been happily married for a little over 13 yrs now and very happy but ever since i have been approaching 40 i seem to want another baby?Is this normal?

My hubby is not overly thrilled at the idea because he is 6 yrs older than me and i am 38.He thinks i am having some kind of female mid life crisis?

yup, my mom is going through that right now...It's cute, but she's kinda over it because she's going to be a grandma now. You're kids are to young to give you grandkids right now. This is normal

That is absolutely normal. I don't know why other ppl are giving negatives to ppl supporting you. You are still young and even though 40 is getting close to the "risky" age, there are so many new medical advancements that you can monitor the pregnancy safely to make sure everything will be ok. Honestly, if you want to have another child, you should. I have a friend who is 40 and about 24 weeks preg right now. All is well with her and she is very excited. Take some time, talk it over with your hubby, and then decide if it is definitely what you would like to do.

Absolutely normal! But if hubby's dead set against it, you're going to have a rough time if you REALLY want another one..
I was told a long time ago that due to health reasons, I would never have children. But, I went on to have four.
With every one I counted my blessings but ached for another baby.
My youngest is 11 months old and already I hate to think she's my last..but I'm 35 now and worrying about the problems that go with having babies when you get older...(I know it's not THAT old, but it feels like sometimes!)
I can see the predicament you're in, and maybe, if you leave it, you'll regret it. But if you go for it, you'll be sorry...?
Jeez, I wish I could say what you should do....but I'M in a tizzy most of the time....!!

yes,completely normal...u are getting to point where having kids arent an option anymore as u start to approach menopause and old eggs (im not calling u old either,u are not even close to old) your eggs just arent as mature anymore..your kids are getting older and arent really babies anymore. If I were you I would go with what your heart tells you,u can still have another baby right now and still be fine..anything OVER 40 is a risk but people do it everyday,so if u really want another one i suggest u try now...talk it over with your husband and see how he feels. I know I want 4 kids all together,no less. im on my third right now and im 26 and gonna start my next in my 30's. I say go for it, if its something u really want..

Yeah, a lot of women go through that. If you still want another kid in a month or so, then you should discuss it. You should wait though, because the feeling may pass.

I have one kid im 19 and now want another i could neva see myself without a kid to run around after i think as long as your not on benefit and you pay for your own children why not?

I think that totally normal you can still have children at 40. I knew a woman that had children at 47. If you are in a good marrige and have children its totally fine. You have to have people to help you.

It's totally normal! If your husband is ok with it then you should do it. Otherwise get a puppy or kitten, that is what my sis-in-law and her friends are doing, LOL.
