My little girl is not fat but is just much bigger than other kids her age. She is not quite two and weighs 40 lbs and is 40 inches tall. The doctor says that she is one of the healthiest toddlers she has seen. My problem is though that I can't find clothes to fit her. Because of her waist she needs a 5T but her legs are more like a 2T or 3T. So I am constantly buying really long pants and then rolling them up. It is just frustrating. Why can't I find clothes that fit my daughter!!! If you have any suggestions on where to look I would appreciate it. Thanks

i walk away from it, i don't reinforce the tantrums with any attention good or bad. my husband however tries to talk her out of it, and makes the tantrum worse. we have talked about ways to handle the two's and i've explained to him why we should ignore tantrums. how else do i get my husband to be consistant with me?

I am nineteen years old, married, and 37 weeks pregnant with my first child. People say some of the rudest, most hurtful things to me. An older man asked me if my parents had disowned me yet, then said if I was his daughter he would have. A lady who lives next door to me "mumbled" (loud enough that i could hear, of course) that i ought to be ashamed of myself for not doing the kind thing for my baby and ending the pregnancy. Many other people sneer, say ugly things, and in general judge my worthiness as a parent. They don't even know me or my husband! why do people say such things? Will they ever stop?
p.s. I have a full-time job, as does my husband, and we are doing well financially. Ive been working with children since I was old enough to volunteer at children's camps and daycares (13 in Arkansas. ) and i think i have as much, if not more, experience with kids than alot of older parents!

Ok, I've been pregnant before and had the same symptoms but last time I didn't find out I was pregnant until a month and half into it when I had a miscarriage. I had tested negitive on home and OB/GYN's urine tests the last time I was pregnant, so I'm kind of skeptical about trusting one again. Last time I didn't skip my period, all that happened was a nausuas feeling and got very very dizzy. same thing now, very dizzy and a nausuas feeling after i eat certin foods. now this time i had my period, but it was 3 or 4 days late and very light and off and on for about 4 days, like extended spotting. idk. what do you guys think? i don't really have time to go to the doctor because i'm in the military for school right now. and the last time i had sex was december 31st and it was unprotected with my

I gave the first shots of immunization to my 6 month old baby (DTaP, Hib, Polio) last Friday and a few hours later he was fussy and got a fever of about 101. Kept giving him Tylenol for 2 days until Sunday evening but he is still feverish. He is not that fussy now and is taking his bottles and some food but after about 5 hours from giving him tylenol his fever is going up to 101 again and 103 in the evening. Is this normal? Anyone else experienced this? Will take him to paedetrician tomorrow.

I never thought "Lynda" was old fashioned. It is my aunt's name, and she's the only one I know with that name, but she's not very old.

Is it right to brag about your kids a little. I find myself talking about my two girls a lot to my neighbors and I recently noticed how much I really talked about them. I was wondering if it is right to brag about your kids as much as I do which is almost everyday to both of my neighbors. Hopefully this question makes sense. I am just wondering if I should lessen the bragging. I really love my girls and I am so proud and what they have accomplished in their 14 and 16 years of life.

Hi all. I have just completed my first month of Yaz birth control pill (today I will take my 3rd pill of the second packet). My period consisted of dark discharge and some very light spotting and it occurred Thursday (last inactive pill) through Friday (first active pill of this packet). I am not sure when I was supposed to expect my period anyway, so I am not sure if that was late or early or what.
Also, here is the catch: I had sex two weeks ago today (on Jan 14) and we used the pull out method (I know i know, unwise...) but i get the sense that my partner accidently let some out because he seemed unusually concerned about whether i was on bcps. To add to the problem, I am currently taking tetracycline, and I am not sure by how much this decreases Yaz's effectiveness and whether or not I should be concerned about the tetracycline. All these factors combined make me incredibly nervous. Sorry for the long question, but I am a little anxious.

I'm 30 weeks pregnant with my third child. My first two were girls (one just turned 3 years old, one just turned 1 yr old) this one is ~supposed~ to be a boy. My first came the day before her due date, the second had to be induced 4 weeks early due to low amniotic fluid. 'Convention wisdom' says additional babies tend to come earlier, so my question is: Those that have 3 or more children, at how many weeks was your third child born? Early? Late? FYI: My cycles have always been very regular and the due dates for my first 2 seemed to be fairly accurate.
Thanks in advance.
