I'm 30 weeks pregnant with my third child. My first two were girls (one just turned 3 years old, one just turned 1 yr old) this one is ~supposed~ to be a boy. My first came the day before her due date, the second had to be induced 4 weeks early due to low amniotic fluid. 'Convention wisdom' says additional babies tend to come earlier, so my question is: Those that have 3 or more children, at how many weeks was your third child born? Early? Late? FYI: My cycles have always been very regular and the due dates for my first 2 seemed to be fairly accurate.

3rd child: 2 days overdue, 4th child: 10 days over due, 5th child: 7 days overdue...and 6th not sure yet :)
First was 10 days over and 2nd was 12 days over
They kids come when they are darn good and ready and I have went to induction 3 times so far...and my dates are always spot on too...

All three of my kids were overdue and had to be induced. I think my body just never goes into labor. You can't include your induction in your figuring because she was induced rather than coming when she was ready. I would think that if your first was a day before your due date, you will probably still deliver right around then. Just be well prepared at 35 weeks so that if anything comes up and you have to be induced, you will be ready. Babies come when they come and other than actually scheduling a C-section or induction, there is no way to know when. If you are prepared, there won't be anything to worry about. CONGRATS on your new sweet baby!! We had three babies in three years too. It's very hard work but worth EVERY minute. BEST WISHES!

It just depends but hope you go on your own and at the right time for me my first was 4 days late, the second was 2 days late and the third was a day early so best wishes

all three of mine were induced two weks past the due date. Good luck with the new baby, my first two were girls and my third a boy.

My first was induced at 36 weeks,my second induced at 40 weeks and my third came on his own at 36 weeks.

It is not that more children mean earlier deliveries. It means that there is a good chance that labor and delivery goes quicker than baby #1. All 4 of mine were section babies so that doesn't help you. Best of luck and be patient.

My 3rd child was due on January 4th,and was born on December 27.

Boy:39wks + 5 days
Boy 41wks + 3 days
Girl:38 wks + 1day
Girl: due date..
I don't know if there'll be number five to compare!

My first was born at 39wks, my second at 39wks and my third was a c-section at 39wks, I'd started to labor the morning of my delivery.

⥠⥠all of mine were early...I dont think anyone can compare because we are all different... my 3rd was taken early because of his size.. he was the biggest..9 # and the first two were only 7#...and they were about 2 weeks early...they come when they are ready or the doctor says its time ⥠â¥
