It's my name too, but considering it was the most popular name in like 1950...well, yeah these days it's old-fashioned. I'm 37 (born in '69) and while growing up there were plenty of Linda/Lynda's around my age, these days I never hear of new babies being named Linda. Maybe Melinda or Belinda, but even those are pretty rare. I love my name though and it flows really well with my last name which also starts with an "L".
Others that fall into this category are Susan, Cathy, Jennifer, Kim, Carrie, Tammy, Julie, Karen, Tracy, Lori, Kelly, Sandra, Donna, Wendy, Janet, Barbara...etc.

Yeah, I know! Like the name 'Evelyn'. Everyone always says it's too old, but I don't think so........
Lynda, I do see as an older name, but there are so many different variations of 'Lynn'. Ex: Katelyn, Marilynn, etc.

Is M.C old fashioned name? At least I don't think so. I haven't meet a lot of M.C accept M.C.Hammer and he is too legit to quit. By the way my real name is M.C.Li and Falcon is just my nickname I grow up with.
