Should I take pregnancy test?

well you all know whats going on from my previous questions... here is the update... well i was late 3 days for my period... i started bleeding a very little bit on saturday morning... i am still bleeding but it is still very little... to where as it isn't even getting on my panty liner... just a little bit it has...do you guys think I could be pregnant and take another pregnancy test or what? I am not sure...

Since you can be pregnant and still have a period, I would call my ob/gyn and set up and ultrasound. That way the doctor can take a look to see what's going on in your tummy. Pregnancy tests are very unpredictable, if you are under 4 weeks of pregnancy. If you want to be pregnant, you may be stressed. Stress can cause pregnancy symptoms. If I were you, I would set up the appointment, but I would also take another pregnancy test until then. Until you find out if you are pregnant or not, treat your body as if you are. It doesn't hurt to be careful for nothing. I wish you good luck.

As your previous posts have indicated you have had the pregnancy test done at the Dr office. I wouldn't waste your money on another one.

While on low dose of BCP it is not at all uncommon for a period to be so light that you think it isn't there. As long as there is a blood discharge, its your period.

From the sounds of things, you don't want to be pregnant. There is only one way for sure to prevent that.......no sex. Aside from that, any time you have intercourse you can potentially get pregnant. If you can't abstain, then use a condom in conjunction with the BCP. But before you engage in sexual intercourse - ask yourself this "do I really want to go thru this again next month?" if you do, go ahead, have a blast, if not, just say no.

If you have missed your period, but there is some spotting, it may be implantation bleeding. This occurs when the bundle of cells called a zygote implants itself in the lining of your uterus. It causes some bleeding because it must implant itself deep in the lining to get nourishment. This is when it gives off HCG hormones (the stuff that the pregnancy test detects). Sometimes, pregnancy tests can be incorrect if done too early because there isn't enough of the hormone in your body yet.

Wait for at least 5 days. If you still have doubts take a pregranancy test. It won't hurt and you will have a better result.

it would not hurt. u may be having inplant bleeding. But it may be ur period. I would take a test. but only if u may be over 4 weeks along. b/c it will not show on a urine test till then

It wouldn't hurt to take another as your period can still come when you are pregnant. But it's normal to have a slightly differently flow from time to time. If you are stressed or anxious, this can affect things things.
