not all men are some men dont mind others feel like it is the mothers duty, they seem to think its not a bonding time but all stages are. But then some men are just lazy and let the mother do everything, you just have to be lucky to get a good man to help with the stinky nappys.

I think it just depends on the man myself. Most of the time The mother is the one that changes them because they are the ones with the child the most. While the the father he is a bit reluctant because While since the mother gets use to the smell after a while. The father since he isn't around the baby as much he tends to smell it more...

Though with my husband even if he complains I still make him change our sons diaper regardless if he goes green in the face. I can't be expected to change all the diapers when he can help me since it is his child as well. I think it mostly depends upon how long the parents are around there children.

Also because women are more of the type to get it done and over with while men like to hold it off as long as possible.

That is an age old question that has haunted us women for many centuries. It could be the fact that they percive it to be a "ladies job". I personally find it amusing, most men often try to conceal their weakness, and that is one that is very present in many men especially when they are around children.

I suppose they just fear the unknown of something that simple. You either have urine , poo, or both. I guess they fear getting the poo filled diaper. I still think it is a bit childish the way some react but I can't deny the fun that is in watching their reactions.

I dont know about other guys but I am quite happy to change my babies nappies, my wife is due our 3rd baby in 3wks and I cant wait to get up and fed him during the night, bath and change him and comfort him when he is un-settled...all these things are part of being a daddy.

Not being funny but is that anyone's favourite chore? I love my kids dearly and I don't begrudge changing their nappies but its not the best job in the world and if there's a chance I can fob it off on my darling husband (especially if its a stinker) then I will, its not a sexist thing its a practical thing

i assume a nappie is a diaper? well when my niece and nephew had to be changed, i couldnt handle the smell and i told my wife if i had a fresh start with a new baby i would get used to it. we adopted our daughter from birth and its true i have adjusted well, only been a couple times where i almost vomitted. i guess they can't handle it or don't wanna try?

i must have someone special - at first he wasnt too happy with the cord on and all, but at 3 month i went back to work and he looks after our little boy and does the majorty of changes including the very messy ones... i just get the occasional few mainly morning and when i get in (3 ish a day).

just pass the baby over and say its your turn.... if you need me i'm here to help and make it clear that you mean help...

but i do think they feel or have it drilled in that its a womans job and if men do it they will hurt the baby...

good luck!

Men do not have to stomach for it the same as women! And also I think they are scared they might just drop the wee mite. But they soon adjust especially after the third baby. Anything for a peaceful like eh lads?.
