I think they should do something about the pregnant women doing drugs, drinking, smoking, and all the other bad things that can harm the unborn baby. I am all against it. Even though back then i was a cig smoker, but i ended up quiting when i found out that i am pregnant. but now i can't get pregnant and i am not smokin cigs but i drink once in a blue moon. i don't drink that much, but when i get the time for myself, and my husband, while our kids are being taken care of by family members we go out have ourself a good old time and come home to do our thing. lol They should not allow the harmful stuff going into a womans pregnant body, because what ever she eats or drinks the baby it getting some of that, and its not fair to the unborn baby.

Take Lacey Peterson, who became murdered through her husband, Scott, and she or he and her fetus dumped interior the Bay. convinced, he became convicted of homicide on 2 counts. You ask an age previous question, one which has many sides to the reply. Legally, it has to do with even as a fetus turns right into a 'human being.' for this reason the abortion debate is so warm interior the first position. If a woman is two months pregnant, is the fetus already someone? If the reply is convinced, what's the litmus? Can that fetus keep up life without the mummy. of direction, that answer is not any. Does this propose that it's not someone? A round debate. If the fetus IS certainly someone, and a woman has an abortion, then i ought to ought to invite who's the assassin - the physician or the girl, or both? shall we've various of youthful females going to detention center for some thing of their lives, would not we? If the girl were raped, can we stress her to have the youngster? If the newborn will be deformed, can we stress it to stay? If the girl will die in childbirth, can we enable her die to save the newborn? those are all questions that were requested repeatedly and over. i wager the authentic solutions are interior the hearts of people that make the alternative to have or no longer have the abortion, and their relationship with their God.

Not being charged with what?

At a bar, its not up to the owner of the bar, waiter, or waitress to stop a pregnant woman from drinking. That is something between a woman and her conscience and in some cases, her doctor or the state she lives in.

Alcohol in small quantities has been found to be beneficial for pregnant women. Remember for hundreds of years wine was the main beverage served, so the pregnant woman had to drink.

As for using drugs, I don't know of any place where you can go and just buy (illegal) drugs.

I have heard about bar staff serving pregnant women...they don't get in trouble, I suppose that you can refuse to serve based on your own morals, but I don't think that it is any type of law.
If a woman is drinking and doing drugs while pregnant, she will do it anyway and that child is screwed regardless if it effects them or not because they have at least one f-uped parent who is not willing to put that baby first...
There is really nothing you can do but pray for the kid!

I don't know. I don't drink during pregnancy. I don't do illegal drugs period and I stopped smoking. I think as a mom to be it is my responsibility to have an environment my child can grow in and not have any risk that I myself put that child through. I think it is every womans responsibility to do what is right for their child. I don't believe pregnant women should be allowed to drink at bars. It's my opinion and everyone has one. A women who drinks is going to drink anyway.

13 weeks pregnant

A pregnant women should not be drinking and/or using drugs. She is endangering the baby. Not sure what you are talking about, but something is wrong.

Because they are acting in the interest of the baby...If she were to get charged then that would cause more stress on the carrier of the baby...therefore could result in problems with the unborn baby.l...i mean it is not the babies fault but i do believe in all aspects they should be charged after the fact no matter what

It is exceptionally sad when woman who have the miracle of another life inside their womb choose to abuse their unborn baby by subjecting the baby to drugs and alcohol. I have always said to each their own and would never judge another human for his/her actions because I do not walk in their shoes daily. the exception though is when they force another human being to ingest alcohol or drugs without their consent. God bless those babies!!

In some states it is considered "child endangerment" but like any other law, it's not if you don't get caught. Good question though.

It isn't illegal to drink whilst pregnant, just very daft. The "staff" are not paid to be moral arbiters.
