Happens all the time ( no not to me :o) ) its just because when you took the test there was not enough HGC ( the pregnancy hormone ) and the test could not detect it and within a few days it increases then the test can detect it..

it depends on how you read the test. Sometimes, if there is a very faint line, a woman assumes that she is not pregnant. That's why a lot of the test say 'regardless of the faintess of the line'. Like some of the other answer's you probably tested a little early, which can be a reason for the false results.

No worries, its pretty common.

you prob took the first test too early-- its very rare to get a false positive-- congrats!!
