Pregnancy & Parenting - 19 January 2007

I am having a few very tell tale signs of being pregnant, because I didn't chart this month I have no way of knowing when I ovulated for sure, but the signs I am having include the area around my nipples have drastically gotten bigger, my boobs are throbbing ( not a usually pr-af symptom for me ). I had the breast tenderness when I was pregnant with my son, but didn't have it when I was pregnant before my son ( that was an ectopic pregnancy ). My nipples are also much darker than usual and there are these tiny white spots on them it is weird ( don't know if that means anything ) If these were indeed pregnancy symptoms don't you think I would have enough of the pregnancy hormone to give positive result on an HPT? Anyone else been through this and what was your outcome?? Something just doesn't feel right. My cycles are between 28-32 days and this is day 29 right now. All advice is much appreciated.

Like, my hips hurting cause they are stretching out making room for the baby. Or the cramps you constantly have while your uterus is stretching. or the increased vaginal discharge. Or everything else that no one ever mentions that happens during pregnancy. It's no fun! Worth it, but I wish I would have expected these things.

Myspace is being sued by the parents of several minors, who allege that their children were molested by sexual predators they met online. Are the parents not responsible for monitoring their children, and failing this, instilling in them a basic set of common-sense guidelines for dealing with others while online? Should they be rewarded for their failures as parents? can anyone explain signs of how back labour may start, this is my first baby so dont have a clue what to expect in labor but i have a dull back ache ive have it for 3 days its not a come and go pain its always there constant also when i walk ans the top of my legs. ive been to see my midwife and she has said the babys head is not engaged so could i be in early stages of labour or not emmm need help and advice.

I am a little over 4 months pregnant and can't seem to gain any weight. I eat everything in sight. We have to go grocery shopping about twice a week. My hubby says that baby is eating my butt because my butt is disappearing. My doctor has me on a 35-40 lb weight gain chart. Can anyone please help me find a way to start gaining weight safely and in a healthy way? I am afraid I am depriving the baby.

My neighbor across the street punishes her kids by giving them apple cider vinegar when they use bad language, talk back or hit/bite/kick etc....I bought some apple cider vinegar and my son was acting up and I gave him some. He despised it!! The thing is it seems to work. He does NOT want another taste of that and I explained to him that if he acts up, talks back, or hits his other brothers he will have to get some more. I'm just wondering what every parents opinions are on this type of punishment....

Im almost 12 weeks pregnant and just made my first dr.appt. for jan 30th..by then ill be 13 weeks. (didnt know pregnant til later and insurance)..Since I will be so far along going in there and since this is my 1st appt. will they give me an ultrasound that day or have to schedule me for one later on?

Each of my kids has their own side of the computer, how do I make it so that the internet shuts off on their side after an hour? So each of my kids only gets one hour a day and I don't have to keep track of it? So it just shuts off? Don't critisize me please, my 3 kids fight like cats and dogs over the internet so I need a way to regulate their times. (I tried a cooking timer, they just reset it.)

I explained to him that we, as humans, don't make these choices. I told him that God makes these choices (it's the only explanation I think he'll understand at his age). He's furious at me, at my husband, and at God.

Has anyone been through this before? Is this something that he'll eventually chill out about, or is this going to be a struggle until he's old enough to move out of the house?

I measured 33 at my 34 week appointment as well.
The nasty midwife I saw yesterday really beat up on me for being small and only gaining 22lbs so far in this pregnancy.
She then proceeded to say that its not normal for my stomach to still measure 33, ten days after my last appointment.
She also said the baby feels to be about 4 pounds. So she thinks my child might have a placenta growth retardation.
I have NEVER had any problems throughout this pregnancy and this woman who I saw yesterday was really mean and I dont get what her deal is.

Has anyone experienced similiar measurements and was the baby ok?

**By the way, babys movement and heart rate are great.

I have a 5 1/2 month old i was underweight when I got pregnant 103 and when I had her I was 158, I was also taking hormone shots every week so I gained extra I have lost 30 but I cant seem to loose anymore anyone have any suggestions? well ladies today is day 10 without having a period. Ive spotted around the time of my period , but was only when i wiped, pinkish slime.(i know TMI sorry). the ovulation calender at http://mymonthly cycle.com says that i am 10 days late and that i am due for ovulation TODAY through the 24th. My period was supose to be this month on the 9th. i am not on birth conctrol, im 28 yrs old and wanting to have a child.i went to hosptial to get blood test the other day and it was a 12.2. and the nurse said well ur not preg as of now, unless ur like a week preg. any suggestions, did i have a missacrriage from the sopttin or implantation bleeding? or not far long enough to show up yet?

Everything 15 min. theres a weird popping, clicking sound coming from my stomach (I don't feel anything, just hear it). You know when you open a jar and the cap pops? Thats what it sounds like, just not as loud.
I looked it up and saw that many other women had the same thing but they were all at least 25 weeks. And I'm only 9 weeks pregnant. It's been happening for about 2 weeks everyday. What is it? Should I be worried?
