From the LAST day of your last period, count 14 days and this is the day that you are receptive to conceive. Good news is that sperm can live in your body for 5 days. So in other words; from the last day of your period at 9 to 14 days, you can conceive. Dont give up hope. Look at it this way: out of 30 days, there are only 5 that you can conceive. * I had a problem with my pregnancy that had all to do with when I conceived. I researched it then. GOOD LUCK!!!

There are alot of questions that go with this one...... How old are you? Sometimes it is hard for someone who has never been pregnant to become pregnabt the first time if you are younger than 21....? Your Female organs might not be working like clockwork yet.... Also if you are older? over 30? it can be harder. There can be many reasons why you are not getting pregnant.
Is you spouse taking zinc? This can help his sperm production.
Are you taking multivitamins? this can help your overall health and you need extra Folic acid BEFORE you get pregnant!
Also invest in a Ovulation kit from a drug store... They run around $20.00 American. This will tell you when your egg is ready to be fertilized. Try to only have sex on the days that the ovulation kit tells you. You may be having alot of sex but, that can actually diminish your chances. In essence you may be spending the good sperm on days you are not ovulating! Good luck and keep trying also relax alot of people find that stressing out about getting pregnant actually keeps them from getting that way..... Many of my freinds have said once they stopped worrying about it they got pregnant right away. You should also ge checked at the doctor there could be a underlying problem that is easy to fix but has gone undiagnosed! Good luck

If you have been trying for a year, you should see a fertility doctor.

They will run tests on you and your partner to see if there are any problems, many of which can be fixed.

My son was a first try baby, my daughter took two years and I remember the rollercoaster of trying, hoping, crashing with the period.....start over again. It was awful...then one day I got pregnant....after being told I needed surgery and hormones.

Good luck to you. You should also be taking your basal body temp every morning. Look it up online, it can be very helpful in getting pregnant.

YOUR MOST FERTILE TIME IS NOT RIGHT BEFORE AND AFTER YOUR PERIOD....for most women it is right in the middle of your cycle.

Fertility drugs most commonly cause twins, a 50% higher chance than normal which increases with age.

People who have more than that usually have had invitro fertilization in which many eggs were purposely fertilized and purposely planted with the idea that most wouldn't survive to up the odds of success. You would not have 5 babies from clomid under most circumstances.

Talk to your doctor. You might need to try some medication like clomid. (Clomid helps you ovulate.) Only your doctor can rule out any problems. Good luck.

keep trying but don't get your hopes to high.
go to your doctor and ask him about it.
if he/she can't help then you might want to consider adoption.
I have a friend who couldn't get pregnant for the longest time but kept trying and now she is. so don't give up hope but don't try to hard if your obsessed with getting pregnant it might cause conflict between you and your husband. but don't forget about adoption.

Try having a lot of sex right before and right after your period, that is your most fertile time. Do not try fertility drugs, that how people have triplets or even quentuplets (However it is spelled).
