Anyone else go through this before??? Shouldn't there be enough by now :( PLEASE READ!!!?

Question

I am having a few very tell tale signs of being pregnant, because I didn't chart this month I have no way of knowing when I ovulated for sure, but the signs I am having include the area around my nipples have drastically gotten bigger, my boobs are throbbing ( not a usually pr-af symptom for me ). I had the breast tenderness when I was pregnant with my son, but didn't have it when I was pregnant before my son ( that was an ectopic pregnancy ). My nipples are also much darker than usual and there are these tiny white spots on them it is weird ( don't know if that means anything ) If these were indeed pregnancy symptoms don't you think I would have enough of the pregnancy hormone to give positive result on an HPT? Anyone else been through this and what was your outcome?? Something just doesn't feel right. My cycles are between 28-32 days and this is day 29 right now. All advice is much appreciated.

AvidBeerDrinker-Please do not take this as me being rude, but what you said couldn't be further from the truth breast tenderness occurred for me when I was pregnant with my son when I was only 5 weeks along. I have done tons of research on this not for me but for a friend of mine who is currently ttc as well and symptoms of pregnancy can occur as soon as implantation takes place or later on in pregnancy.

i would goto the dr and get a blood test done. it sounds like you could be pregnant. remember each pregnancy is different. my comparing my two full term pregnancies they were both really different but i had boys both times. So i would goto the dr and have a blood test done. good luck

When I got pregnant with my second child (current pregnancy) it took until CD 37 to get a positive HPT, and my cycles are 29-31 days pretty much like clock work. It turns out I ovulated late which is very abnormal for me. I also had the darker nipples and the "white spots" on them which for me was a telltale sign I was pregnant with my first child and my 2 miscarriages I had. I would wait a few days and test again, if still negative or you want to know now go ahead and get to the doc for a blood test, because that will tell you exactly what you need to know! Also, sometimes implantation can take longer which would delay a positive HPT. Sounds like you are more than likely pregnant, but do wait and do another HPT or go get a blood test to know for sure!

I am currently 6 weeks pregnant. The things you have mentioned are deffinately signs of pregnancy- but it does not deffinately mean you are pregnant. I didnt get a positive pregnancy test until I was about 3 1/2 or 4 weeks along. If you still havent started your period in 5 to 7 days, take a nother test. Also, Dont drink a lot before you take the test. It can delute it. First morning pee can also have stronger hormones in it.

Congratulations! Sounds like it's a Go on pregnancy. My mom (mother of 3) said that the little raised white bumps were always her first definite sign. I (also a mother of 3) never experienced them myself. You're only on day 29 of your cycle so a pregnancy test will not produce positive results just yet. The only thing that means is that the hormone that pregnant women produce has not been detected in your urine just yet. Produces about third week of pregnancy. There's a good chance that you conceived at the end of your cycle. Which, if you're interested, has the more likelihood of being a girl. Buckle up it's going to be a long pregnancy. Just went through it myself.

Same things happened to me...I had taked I think 3 home tests, 2 tests at the dr's office, and a blood test at the dr's...all negative. Finally, at about 9 1/2 weeks pregnant, I tested positive at home, and confirmed at dr's office the next day. I am now about 32 weeks and thrilled! I knew something was different, and I feel I knew I was pregnant, even though every other sign pointed to no. Just give it time, and don't stress about it because that can affect a period too.

(another time, i had a bad infection causing my cervix to swell
which caused irregular, late period.)

my lmp was september 7th i found out october 14th i was pregnant. the reason i took a test(besides being a week late) is because my breasts hurt so bad that it made me cry a few times. i couldnt wear a bra, if someone or something accidentally touched it, it would throb for hours. i am 19 wks now, but the aereolas(cant spell) are definately bigger adn darker. as well as breasts being bigger. studies show that the breasts generally grow before anything else. i took dollar store pregnancy tests, and they were right. so keep checking, or go get a blood test. good luck

You aren't late yet so I don't think it will show up on a test. Maybe try to be patient for a few more days and then test again, I know it's hard. I will tell you though that the first symptom I had was tender, sore breasts, so it could be that you are pregnant.

Remember our bodies change as we age as well, so depending how old you are you could have darkening of the nipples anyway so don't bet the farm on that on it's own.... but if you have a "feeling" that something isn't right, go with your instinct. More often then not we are right about such things! See your doc for a blood test or wait until day 32 and try testing agian.

I think that you could be as that was everything that happened to me. I had those little white bumps on my breasts too and that's a sign of pregnancy. Take another test and take it first thing in the morning. And yes, I as well had symptoms like a week before my period was due. Good luck and baby dust!!!
