Gain weight the same way a baby/toddler does. Healthy fats! Try switching to a higher fat milk or dairy products and healthy fats like peanuts, meat, vegetable oils, etc. You are probably eating so healthy you are avoiding some key things with the higher fats. With those things in mind, you should have no problem adding a few more pounds. Plus, healthy fats are easier to lose afterwards! Good Luck!!!

You aren't depriving the baby. If you are eating little to nothing I would be concerned, but it sounds like you are eating what you feel like eating. I'm 32 weeks and have only gained 7 pounds even though I eat 3 meals plus plenty of snacks in between. I didn't start gaining weight until about 17 weeks. You will start to gain more once you hit 20 weeks. If you are really concerned discuss it with your doctor, especially since the doctor said you might need to gain 35-40 pounds.

The baby is too small to add significant weight right now. Your weight will come later. I would slow down because once it does start coming on, you'll wish you'd slow down. Enjoy the fact you can eat whatever you want. The baby will take what it needs from you, and I'm sure you'll have a healthy baby.
The last month of pregnancy, the baby is gaining a half a pound a week. Combine that with your enlarged uterus, water retention, amniotic fluids, you'll be sure to pack on 25 pounds by then at least.

properly, you're purely 6 months, and you will in all probability benefit some pound a week for something of your being pregnant. Which might desire to deliver you as much as a minimum of 20 lbs average benefit which isn't undesirable in any respect. each and every lady is different. additionally, in case you have been obese in any respect earlier you got pregnant, then you truly purely might desire to learn 15-25 pounds throughout the time of your being pregnant. in case you have been very underweight already earlier starting to be pregnant, then i might hassle slightly and attempt and devour extra many times. yet in any different case i think of you would be superb. i'm purely 12 weeks now, and have lost weight, and the wellbeing practitioner advised me to not hassle, which you will benefit weight... lol. i think of you would be purely superb. the toddler has extra weight to learn, and that i'm beneficial you will too. additionally, i've got heard of many females human beings not gaining very lots weight till their seventh or 8th month. talk your concerns with your wellbeing practitioner, and perchance they are in a position to furnish you some assistance, yet while your wellbeing practitioner isn't aggravating, then you truly shouldn't hassle too lots. sturdy success and Congrats!
