my baby has found a tub of Sudocrem and rubbed it over his face, thickly into his hair and also onto the cat, the sofa, my shirt and our bed. Any ideas for any of these in fact, urgently appreciated!

Because Sudocream is very greasy, to remove it from anything, you need to use a good soap. For your baby's hair and your cat, I'm sure a good bath using some regular baby shampoo will do. Make sure you put enough soap to create a nice thick lather.

For the sofa and your shirt, you should apply a bit of dish washing (ex: Dawn) directly on the stains and brush it in a bit with a brush (an old toothbrush will do) before you put it in the laundry. That should do it. I know it works because I use cloth diapers and I always manage to remove Sudocream stains this way.

Good luck!

I have not every used Sudocrem but if it is just a heavy lotion washing with baby soap and cat soap should be good. You may have to wash many times. Or you can just try to rug it in? If it is just a lotion it will eventually soak into the skin.

If that doesn't work maybe trying dish soap, if you use it be careful not to get it into eyes, try useing one with something on it like gentle on hand and skin.

Just washing you sheets in the wash should get it out...you may need to wash a few times. Do not put in the dryer untill you know it came out!!

Good Luck!

for the fabrics, sprinkle with baby powder or crnstrach (to solidfy the fats) and vaccumm until it is gone. This will take several tries. Don't give up.

For the hair, sprinkle with powder and wash with oily hair head and shoulders shampoo (it works well for oily substances). Rinse with water diluted vinegar. Repeat until clean or baby has had enough. DO NOT GET IN BABY'S EYES
