When we try to use a bottle to feed him, he only plays with it but don't ever suck on it. We tried to wait until he's really hungry to see if then he would suck on a bottle but failed. Anyone's got good ideas on this matter?

i do, not every day, but frequently. as a child myself my parents didn't take care of my teeth, i had lots of cavities, a root canal as a kid, three in fact, you'd never know it today since i take excellent care of my teeth, but i am extra cautious with my son. i also read in a parenting magazine that of the preschoolers/ kindergarteners starting now something like 50 percent have tooth decay!

I just started experiencing a feeling of pulling & cramping in my mid section (below my belly button) to the right, or left in the same spot! It scares me, because I don't remember having that feeling ever, with my fist full term pregnancy. I have had two miscarrages in the past two years.

My son is 4 and does a mixed martial art - part kickboxing/karate/tae kwon do/self defence... But when I mention that their kids might benefit from doing it, they shy away like I have blasphemed or something... Because of the violent world we live in, I would hope that my child learns right from wrong and if things get out of hand, that he is equipped physically and mentally to deal with situations when they arise and control them...

What do you think???

So im 16 weeks 2 days pregnant with my third child? I have felt the small flutters already, when will they become stronger and daily? I cant wait!!! I have my scan on Feb 1st, ill be 19.5 weeks pregnant, will they be able to tell me the sex then? I didnt find out with my first two, as we wanted a surprise :).....And If im 16 weeks pregnant would that be in my 5th month? Or does that start at 17 weeks? Thanks so much :)!!!

i've been sick constantly from week 6, i've tryed 5 different types of anti-sickness drugs but nothing touched it, luckly now at 11 weeks it's easing off, i found that dr pepper and sprite helped a little bit, what helped your morning sickness?

I had an appointment last week with my fertility specialist...I walked in and the usually nice secrtary was being very nasty sying that I never scheduld an appointment!! When I swear i did..she probably forgot to fill me in and therefore was lying and being very rude...because she was guilty...she didnt even saay sorry!!! I spoke to patient relations and reported her...they were very sorry about it and scheduled me for today to see the doc. NOW WHEN I WALK INTO THE OFFICE HOW SHOULS I ACT TO THE SECRETARY..SHOULD I SMILE (IREALLLY DONT WANT) SHOULD I JUST BE COOL... WHAT SHOULD I SAY..SHOULD I SHOW I AM UPSET...AND SHOULD I ALSO MENTION ALL TO THE DOC??? THANKS

My daughter seems super-human....she pushes our rocking chair completely across the room, and if she is standing on the ground, she can grab a table (above her head), and pull herself so that her nose is at the table level, and her feet are dangling 2 inches off the ground....and STAY that way for about a minute!

We bought her a "walker"....a lawnmower-looking toy that she can push around and learn to walk...she picks it up and tosses it!
She weighs 20 pounds and is 28 inches tall, right in the middle as far as percentiles.

Is this pretty normal?

I'm driving myself crazy. I am trying to get pregnant and I really think that I might be, but I've taken 3 pregnancy tests and they've all came out negative.

Today is the first day I missed my period and I took one of the tests this morning. The one before I took 2 days ago. And the one before that I took 2 days before.

The tests I took came from early-pregnancy-tests.com and they claim to read hCG counts of only 20, which means testing a few days before a missed period.

I had sex on all of my fertile days, in fact we have sex pretty much every day. A day or 2 after I supposidly ovulated I had really bad cramping for a few hours. I've been extremely moody, feeling dizzy on some days, feeling sick to my stomach on some days, and a very mild cramping feeling for a couple of days.

I'm starting to think this is all in my head. I guess I just need to calm down and wait another few days to see if my period does come, then re-test.

Anyone else with similar symptoms???

But then became good friends with another. The three of them hung out all the time but the 1st girl started problems. She would say this one talked about this one when it didn't happen, etc.She started get really mean last year to my daughter, nasty emails, talking about her,forwarding emails of her talking about my daughter, pressuring the other girl to stop being friends. It lasted a while, I tried to contact the mom about it but she never answered me until it spilled over in school and the girls got into a fight there ansd she still blew me off. After a while, it blew over. My daughter learned to ignore her and move on but still be nice to her to avoid problems. They talk in school but do not hang out The other girl is still good friends with her. My problem is that her bday is coming up and I do not want to invite her and my daughte but the girls that are invited are all friends with her.I am afraid if we don't invite her, she will be mean to her again. any suggestions?

My son has been potty trained as far as pee pee for almost a year and a half. He has had only one accident during the day since I started potty training, and has never wet the bed. When it comes to going poop, he refuses to do so. He tells me he will use the potty next time, and then the next thing you know he is hiding and pooping on himself. I have tried everything I can think of and nothing has worked. Help?????????

for any abnormalties back? Its just im 7weeks and a few days and was thinking about telling my kids that i was pregnant when i get to 3 months but was wondering if all the tests should have been done and are back by then?(think they are called triple screening tests etc) So far it seems like it varies dependent on what part of the country you live. I had my first two over a decade ago, cant remember when i had their results back and even if I could its probably all changed since then!! Thanks all

Hey has had the diarrhea for the last 2 days..Yesterday he went 5 times and today so far he has had it 3 times already. He doesnt have a fever or any pain associated. I have been giving him a banana a day and he does drink at least 16 ounces of juice a day max and that doesnt include milk. I just started giving him pedialyte/gatorade. Is there anything else I should do?

I have been trying on and off potty training her.She is pretty smart and she knows how to go, some days she sais PEE PEE and runs to the toilet by herself,and sometimes she pees and sometimes she doesnt. She even takes off her daiper sometimes and pees on the floor.She knows that u need to caca and peepee in potty.But i think she just is too lazy and doesnt care. I vene ried putting panties on her but shes pees in it.Pull ups doesnt help at all. Should i just wait it out till she really wants too??i never forced her to stop soosoo,she lost it and idnt care about after.Than she didnt care also about bottle in crib when she stoped. She did crawling by herslef, and was quick with walking and does full sentances and sings full songs.She knows alot.what should i do???
