I have a 2 yo with a 10 month old sister who is now walking and playing, how to I teach the 2 year old how to share. She thinks even the baby's toys are hers. I try to explain sharing but everything is still saying 'that's mine!'

I am 4 days late getting my period. I took a home pregnancy test and it was negative. Could i still be pregnant. It was unprotected sex, but i was on birth control, i just wasnt taking it right.(skipped alot of days) and ive been on bc for 2 years, it never messes up my cycle, no matter when i stop or start taking it so its not that. how long should i wait before i take the other test it came with?

i had a m/c on the 10 december and started ttc ten days later. since then, i have had tender breasts, lots of white discharge, am more hungry and milk back in my breasts (about 8 months after finishing b/f my daughter!) with no cycle in between, its imporssible to tell when i may be able to test. tested last night and it was negative and am convinced i am preg. anyone else in the same boat. it could be hormones playing tricks on me but a/f due around now although its only 4 weeks since m/c so could be another 2 weeks away. have had lots of period like cramping. help please because i am going out of my mind!!

I know a couple who have a five week old baby. This poor little thing pants like a dog and can't seem to calm down. He shakes every once in awhile and his parents feed him four bottles in an hour (COLD BOTTLES!!) and aren't adequetly keeping him warm. The baby is fussy and might be cholic but the parents just stick a bottle in his mouth and think that will solve it. Is there any serious health problems that can occur to this baby? I know I need to say something to them but they are very independent and stubborn, selfish people. How can I make them realize that their baby is suffering?

I found out I'm pregnant by a man that has no ambition, life goals, money, priorities...Here's the situation. I wanted a baby. I'm at a point financially and emotionally I can do this with no worries...I can even be a stay at home mom and still have income coming in. He wants to be involved but also told me 1 month ago he didn't want to have a baby or get married (we'd been talking about it lightly). He will end up bringing nothing to the relationship except drama and mistrust and his ghetto drug and smoking ways. I recently found out he's hanging out with his ex on a regular basis and not telling me (I found out through his mom). He says they are still friends but why would he have to hide it if they are only friends? I feel if he has to lie about this, what else is he lying about? Do you think it's wrong that I want to dump him even though I'm pregnant? What breakup reason should I give without seeming cold. I really don't think he'll be able to benefit us.

Last night before I went to sleep I noticed this pain on my right side, but I moved around until I got comfortable. This morning, as soon as I moved, I noticed that the pain is still there and even worse than before. It reminds me of the pain I felt when I had appendicitis, but a little higher up. It hurts mostly when I am walking around because sitting down I can get into a comfy position. It feels different than the usual stretching pains I have experienced recently. Any ideas?

We are looking for a baby sitter and wasn't sure what the appropriate rate is that we should offer.

We live in the Chicago suburbs with two boys, 1 yr & 3 yrs old. Both have average needs (i.e. no special needs req'd). We would be looking for a girl over the age of 14.

I would imagine that the rate should also depend on the responsibilities. 1. Rate during the day with 100% care. 2. Rate after bedtime when they can do homework, watch tv, or talk on the phone, etc. 3. If they need to spend the night in the spare room. Also, would the rate be age dependant?

Thanks!

I posted this in "Entertainment", but wanted to post this here as well for feedback! Thanks-----

They graduate in May of course, but I want to throw a party for all of them in April. I was thinking a cook out on a Saturday afternoon so they could still 'go out' that night.

So, my questions are:
Is it OK to have a party for him that also honors the rest of the class, etiquette-ly speaking?
Is April 15 too soon?
Do I invite the parents?
What are some good festive ideas to make this special?
What sort of party favor should I get each of them?
I was going to make everyone a CD of 'graduation' songs, is that cheesy?

Of course, the focus will be my son, but I want to honor the entire class because they have all gone to school together for so long. Of course, we don't want anyone bringing gifts.

I welcome any ideas and suggestions on how

Ok so I took a test this morning. It was a cheapy from the dollar store. Anyways There is the faintest of faint lines. At the bottom you can see a bit of color but the rest looks like it could be a evap line. I am just wondering if anyone has had an experience like this? I have a routine appointment at my ob/gyn tomorrow and will find out for sure. But come on that is 24 hours away and this has just made me more confused LOL Here is my history that makes me think it is even possible:

I had my period on December 5th, 2 days early but no big deal. Very short at 2 1/2 days, but I usually only go 3 or 4 days so no biggie. Anyways we had sex a few times between Dec 15th - 24th I was expecting my period Jan 2nd (other then last months 26 day cycle I am usually 28 on the nose) Well I
had some spotting starting Dec 31st (not enough to even show on a pantyliner) that was only there when I wiped (sorry TMI) it was dark brown and some tinged with a tiny bit of pink off and on for 3 or so days

I noticed on the bill that I received from my sons Dr. that she charges a fee for injecting the shot ALONG with the fee for the immunization itself. The fee for poking him with the needle is $30.00 for one kind of immunization injection and $20.00 each for the other 2 injections. These injections were normal immunizations for his 15 month check-up. Is this fee a normal fee or am I getting ripped off? The doctor doesn't even give the dang shot, the nurse does!!

I keep myself in good shape for her. I go to the gym 3 times a week and walk every night. The walking is in large part for my own health but the gym is mainly for her. We both agreed that the others physical appearance was very important to us at the beginning of our marriage 11 years ago. Now she has three kids and while I do not expect her body should look like a 21 year olds (she is 32) but I do want her to get her breast fixed. She breast feed our kids and now that all that is over and we are not going to have any more children I want her to have the boob job. She is not so sure she wants to. Before children she was a 36b cup and perfect in my eyes. Now I have no idea what cup size but they do not resemble the pre-kids boobs I loved. Am I asking too much?

Have four month old baby and she is not sleeping through night. I have called my dr, but this is making me worried. She sleeps good all day, and only takes a couple of naps during the day. She sleeps for about four hours and is up for the rest of the morning, from 1-5. Some say she is going through a growth sprut, others say acid reflux. Anyone have this problem????
