Ok so I took a test this morning. It was a cheapy from the dollar store. Anyways There is the faintest of faint lines. At the bottom you can see a bit of color but the rest looks like it could be a evap line. I am just wondering if anyone has had an experience like this? I have a routine appointment at my ob/gyn tomorrow and will find out for sure. But come on that is 24 hours away and this has just made me more confused LOL Here is my history that makes me think it is even possible:
I had my period on December 5th, 2 days early but no big deal. Very short at 2 1/2 days, but I usually only go 3 or 4 days so no biggie. Anyways we had sex a few times between Dec 15th - 24th I was expecting my period Jan 2nd (other then last months 26 day cycle I am usually 28 on the nose) Well I
had some spotting starting Dec 31st (not enough to even show on a pantyliner) that was only there when I wiped (sorry TMI) it was dark brown and some tinged with a tiny bit of pink off and on for 3 or so days

By the way this is a Dollar House not a Dollar Tree. I looked at the brand they sell Proof positive and they measure at 50 not 25. Oh well i will know for sure soon lol

Hi...I know how you feel. I just took a test yesterday and it came out negative, I thought, but when I looked at it again, I saw a faint line to make up the "+". I know it's hard to wait for the blood test, but that's the best thing to do, because we both could be looking at evaporation lines. My husband and I went to buy a First Response test last night, so I'll test again in the morning. I'm older and in a "hurry" to get pregnant! : ) I've been taking this herb called Vitex Chaseberry, and thank God, that's helped my cycle become regular and helped me to ovulate. The only problem is that I was due for my period on Jan. 1st. I pray that the Vitex didn't stop working. My gynecologists couldn't even help me get regular, so I'm a little discouraged. But, I've decided to keep on trying and to keep praying if I don't get the result I want!!! I used one of the cheap test from the Dollar Store, too. Mine came back with a very faint line, also. I didn't think I was pregnant, because of how faint the line is. When I went for my prenatal appointment, I was pregnant. So my guess is you are too. But I wouldn't stress over it too much until you find out for sure. Best of luck.

According to the Dollar Tree test box , it measures 25 mIU hCG. That is significantly less than some of the brand names!

Even the faintest lines can be positive. Good Luck!

hi-I took the dollar tree test when I was 4-5 days late-- it came up positive immediately, and the line was very dark.
the dollar tree tests are made by the same company as first response, I believe (one of the name brand companies)
they have the same 1-800 help number on the box--they are the tests 'donated' to planned parenthood and such organizations, the brand name company doesnt put the brand name on the box because they dont want to 'endorse' abortions, etc.
they are just as good as the expensive brand tests.
unless you read the result after the 10 minute time period, I bet you are pg!

My friend just used a cheep dollar store preg test. It was positive with a faint line and then she went and bought a more expensive one. It again was + with faint line. Went to doc's sure enough shes pregnant. Faint line usually means yes!

omg!!! i am in the same situation right now.. same period time- but mine was only one day on december 29th. i was totally confused. i went to the Dollar tree and took a test- but it was negative. i took it at night and i had drank a bunch of water so i think i need to take another test. i am not sure though. maybe i am just not pregnant? But still no period or anything. i am just as confused as you. please tell me how yours turns out. i think i am going to make me a doctor appointment as well.

My test from the dollar store was the same way. I actually took 2 of them to verify that i was pregnant. So more than likely you could be pregnant.

my sister-in-regulation only used a sort of final month and he or she have been given a BFP in basically a minute or 2! now i think of she's 7 weeks pregnant! i became stunned because of the fact i would not think of considered one of those inexpensive little element might artwork! here when I spent 13 greenbacks on 3 of the variety call style! circulate forward and attempt the greenback keep style! :)

I was told a positive is a positive, no matter how faint the line is.
