Because they don't want them to die before they reach adulthood?

Because they want them to be responsible for themselves instead of always relying on others?

Now being "adult" should not mean you no longer have fun, if that is what you are refering to.

Because, you know, it's kind of inevitable that they WILL be adults someday, assuming they don't get themselves killed along the way. Adults who act like children generally aren't well respected.

All kids must grow up and become adults one day. Duh!!! Why would a parent want their adult child to spend their life acting like a child.

I've just answered two of your other questions. Are they for real? I have a few questions for you:

1. Do you have children?
2. Are you thinking of having children?

If you have children I suggest you stop asking these irrelevant questions and think about why you had children and what you want for them in life.

If you are thinking of having children, please consider WHY. Your goal should be to educate your children and help prepare them to become productive adult members of society.

Because that's our job and we don't need to raise children for the rest of our lives. At one point everyone needs to grow up, never right to push them to fast though and ignore our job eather.
