Last night before I went to sleep I noticed this pain on my right side, but I moved around until I got comfortable. This morning, as soon as I moved, I noticed that the pain is still there and even worse than before. It reminds me of the pain I felt when I had appendicitis, but a little higher up. It hurts mostly when I am walking around because sitting down I can get into a comfy position. It feels different than the usual stretching pains I have experienced recently. Any ideas?

So much different stuff is stretching that stretching pains can change. Since you are now 19 weeks the stretching is really just starting and can be very painful and be mainly in one spot sometimes. I actually passed out from the pain one morning and my husband rushed me in my gown to the ER only to find out it was a stretching pain. I went to my dr. that afternoon to confirm and she gave me a book of exercises to help ease the pain. You can go to babycenter's website to get some good exercises. http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/pregnancy/pregnancyfitness/588.html
You should see your doctor though to rule out any other possibility. Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!

How pregnant are you? It could be the arm or leg in your side. My baby used to lay on one side and one side only. I had so much pain in one spot that I couldn't feel the rest. It may just be something like that. Keep an eye on it and if it gets worse, call the doc.

I had that and they told me that it was the baby kicking/hitting my ribs, it was worse when I walked and it was so painful I cried. It only lasted about a week. Good Luck!

Maybe the baby is kicking, depending how far you are into your pregancy. Take vitamins and relax and see if it helps.
