Pregnancy & Parenting - 8 January 2007

My sister is pregnant and grrr I can't wait till she has the babe, awe, but grr cause she is so mean, not only to everyone around her but most of all to my children. I think she might be scared, it is her first, and looking for flaws in everyone, hopeing that her baby will be perfect. I try to be understanding, do to the pregnant hormones, but it really hurts my feelings!!

It was a normal delivery for me .at his birth his scalp area was conical in shape. i was told that it will become alright soon. it is better now. but still a bit conical and not normal.his head bones have become very hard now. so even afterweards will it still reshape and become normal???

We just discovered yesterday that our seat ( which we had no problems with) was one of the ones that failed the test. It is an Evenflo Discovery with the stroller... we were going to reuse it ( if we needed to) or give it to charity but now I don't know what to do with it! I feel kinda bad throwing it away but if it is not safe its not safe.

i was raped 5 months ago and i didnt report it cause he knew where i stayed and i was scared i didnt know what to do..So i moved out of the state..i jus found out 2 months ago i was pregnant..I dont know what to do..i dont believe in abortions or adoption..and im scared that if the babys father is the rapist i will mistreat him..and my boyfriend believe that he is the father and im scared to tell him that he might not be the father..Im So confused can someone help me..y me?

My son is 9 1/2 months, and wakes almost hourly or two. He does not eat when I go in until 3:30-4:30. I have to either rock, or sway him (and he is a big boy, 24lb) back to sleep.I took him to urgent care yesterday,everything fine but teething. I give him motrin nothing seems to help him at night.I have tried cry it Ferber stule,about 5 times in 4months. Each time he projectile vomits he is so worked up after 10-15 minutes of crying. I feel horrible & rock him. I have heard to clean him up and put him back down, I did that the other night and he threw up again. I feel terrible. He is happy during the day. How do I teach him to get to sleep on his own when he vomits after crying in his crib. I have even sat on his floor in his room and moving closer to the door. He again projectile vomits 2-3 times in a row from crying.

Please any adivce is welcomed,thanks in advance

If one is not with the father of the unborn child, but he still talks about being there, would it be wrong to not give the baby his last name? Shouldn't it be a privilage for someone to carry your name?

I'm only 24 weeks but I decided to start drawing up my BIRTH PLAN.. My hubby is against both the epidural and water birth
I need personal experiences to help me in my decision - i am thinking of going for the gas and air option combined with message and aromatherapy (this is my 1st baby)

Yesterday, I felt light headed all day and had a sore scratchy throat. Today I woke up and drank some thera-flu, but I still feel the same symptoms. At first I thought it was the beginning of the flu, but I never got a fever.


I am only a couple of days late in my cycle, but am wondering if these could possibly be early symptoms of a pregnancy. I have been pregnant before but I miscarried at a very early stage.


Does anyone remember their symptoms when they initially got pregnant? Possibly within the first 2-3 weeks, if any arise at that time?

6:30 Juice
8:00 Breakfast
10:00 Snack
10:55 Bottle
11:00 Nap (30 minutes)

my friend is thinking about starting a family she had seen 3 different gynocologists and they all gave different answers she has pco and endiometrosis(if thast how you spell it) one said she wont be able to have kids, the otherjust said yes adn that last one just said its possible but would be difficult. any body got any ideas which one is right or had an experience with both of these problems and still managed to concieve. please help if u can she would like to know i dont suffer from these so havent got a clue

My 2 1/2 year old sleeps on the couch because he has a fit if he can't watch cartoons. Then sometimes ends up in the bed with me and my Husband!
My one year old has to sleep with us or he cries until he gags until we get him!

I saw my midwife last friday. She said he's got 3/5 of his head in but didnt do a pelvic. Ive had loads of BH & pressure pains. Today though, after walking into town, Ive had bad pains which came & went-im assuming more BH & it feels like he's trying to push down. He's got his feet against my lower ribs & when he pushes i get pain in my pelvis. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
