If you want a reliable answer then a test taken when you have missed a period will give you the most reliable result. You may get a positive result before your period is due if the hormone level is high enough but a negative result wouldnt be a reliable answer as sometimes you are pregnant but you can test to early. When a woman is pregnant she releases the pregnancy hormone which is highest around the time your period is due, tests pick up this hormone but if youve done it too soon it simply can mean the levels are to low to detect.

Since everyone else covered the info on pregnancy tests (btw, you still need to go to a doctor if it's positive), I'll say this: unless you're married, and BOTH of you are totally faithful, why are you having unprotected sex? Even if you're not pregnant, unless you're ready for a kid, you should go to Planned Parenthood or your gynecologist and get a good birth control method (best one: The Pill with condom!...that's assuming you're not going to stop having sex, a.k.a. abstinence).

Firstly, I am assuming you are in a long term relationship and want to become pregnant otherwise why would you have unprotected sex.
Secondly - pregnacy tests these days are so sensitive it can show up before you miss your 1st period

I'm not going to tell you that you shouldn't even be asking this question - I can tell you are still young by the way your question has been presented. But to the question - there is a test on the market that can give you results within 1 week!
What the hecky is wrong with the teens these days? HAS NO ONE EDUCATED YOU ON PROTECTING YOURSELF BE IT WITH BIRTH CONTROL, CONDOMS OR SOMETHING?

i think it's usually at least 2 weeks for regular tests but there are specific ones that have been brought out to detect earlier. the longer you leave it though, the more likely to be accurate (not too long either).

in case you purchase this extremely good try referred to as OneResponse then its 5 days in the previous your era. Or otherwise wait till you're literally not getting your era and then try it. After 2 weeks it would want to no longer teach nonetheless
