There always has been sexual abuse of children;what we are seeing now is that people are taking it more seriously;as a crime,as it should be.We also have the right know who is in our neighborhoods;therefore we can keep our children away from those who are registered sex offenders.The mental health professionals have seen what it does to children,and adults to be victimized that way.Although I do believe child pornography and its easy access is fueling these freaks,they have always been around.Although no parent should let their child dress provocatively for these perps;it is not the child's fault if the Adult acts on a sick thought.There are no cures for pedophiles,there never has been one cured.There are only criminal deterrents;which usually do not last.This is the reason any child who has been abused must receive the proper treatment,for themselves and others;most perps have been abused themselves and therefore repeat the same sexual pattern.It really is about control,they cannot feel gratified with a consenting adult.very sickening.

most of the time the kids say they are older then what they are and they dress older too...so i think it is the kids fault that make the predator make adavances....i dont think its all kids that do this but most of the time i think it is. and where are the parents...i think they need to limit the computer time and put the computer either in the parents room or liveingroom where its out in the open and the kids arent behind close door talking to them...

Their looking for children that have had zero parenting. You know, the kids that never got a swift boot to the a s s when they pulled a tantrum.

they just look forward of hurting these children and they just look forward of causing their family grief and heartache. its happened alot. dont let your children on any adult websites if your children have myspace make sure their profile is private because there are tons and tons of predators on myspace.
