How often are you planning to pump ? If you are planning to pump once in a while, go for a good manual one ( avent is good). If you are planning to work at least 2-3 days a week, invest in a good electric pump. Medela and Ameda ( hollister) are good electric pumps that are efficient and durable. Do not waste your money on cheap electric pumps. Also, if you have a long commute, the car adapter is a good purchase.
Good electric pumps are pricy, but if you factor in the price of formula and trips to the doctor, it works out cheaper in the long run.

Honestly, electric really is the best. I rented one from the hospital and was very pleased with it. I tried the hand pump kind too, but was very sorry i'd spent the money on it. You can hand express faster than one of those just by learning your breast and how and where to squese.
Good luck!!!!!

a great form of people propose the Ameda pump? i think of that's what it rather is called. It expenses around $a hundred and fifty and is meant to be between the extra perfect mid-grade pumps on the industry. i in my view use a Medela Pump in type unique. i exploit it presently approximately 8-10 situations each and every week. as quickly as I first began back to paintings I probable used it extra like 20 situations each and every week toe nsure I maintained my furnish. that's older and replaced into given to me yet i ought to care much less approximately it getting used. I wiped clean it properly and offered new aspects for it. you are able to desire to purchase them online used. many people do no longer propose this yet I see no subject with it. a number of them are so gently used they are fairly much variety new. The Medela PIS expenses approximately $270 i've got faith. The automobiles paintings consistently and that they are fairly good pumps. Any Medela i think of is a great purchase while you're prepared or able to pay slightly extra.

it depends whAt your needs are if you just need to to relieve a little engorgement and you'll be at home with baby most time you could get away with a manual. But if your planing on going back to work I'd get an electric one for sure
