Have four month old baby and she is not sleeping through night. I have called my dr, but this is making me worried. She sleeps good all day, and only takes a couple of naps during the day. She sleeps for about four hours and is up for the rest of the morning, from 1-5. Some say she is going through a growth sprut, others say acid reflux. Anyone have this problem????

I had the same problem. I would let her sleep too much during the day, and at night she was wired. I put a little bit of cereal in her milk to help her sleep through the night and I kept her up and wired through the day. i tried to avoid letting her take naps around 4pm. It worked. My daughter sleeps through the night in her crib since she was 4 months without a problem.

My 3 month old sleeps through the night. She is awake for most of the day. Your baby may have gas or acid reflux. Try some semithicone drops. If she is still not sleeping well, she may just be going through a fase.

My daughter is also four months and is the same way. I have been told that she is just still hungry and that it may be time to start her on cereal and my doctor suggested that same thing. So I give her a serving of cereal at about 3pm and then again at about 8 pm. So far it hasn't helped, and others say that she is teething and the slightest pain wakes her up, so I believe it is that.

Hope that helps.

I had the same problem. I don't know how you fell but guve her a little ceral in her bottle and it will help her. I think she is just hungary. It helped mine out a lot. But I never told the doc. they are not for sure when the right age is for anything with any child. Mine started to wake up every hour wanting food so i did this and he started to slepp through the night.

Try feeding her some cereal at night if not already feeding solids.
