A toddler's teeth don't need to be flossed until they are touching and long as they are easy to clean. Right now I don't need to floss my son's teeth because they are so far apart, but the dentist told me to keep in mind that we will need to start when his permanent teeth begin to come in.

i could be aggravating that making your youngster's gums sore and bleeding could reason him to hate flossing. we've not tried flossing our 3-year previous son's tooth yet, yet we've brushed them two times an afternoon considering that he become quite below a year previous (he have been given his first tooth at 3-months). He likes brushing his own tooth (and enormously to spit toothpaste interior the lavatory), yet we nonetheless help him to verify he does a sturdy sufficient job. we can start up flossing sometime interior the subsequent year, whether the Oral-B article become an eye fixed-opener. sturdy question; it quite has me questioning.

The general rule is, once their teeth start touching....you need to start flossing them.

My son loves it. He always looks at the pick and says "Look at all that plaque...Yuck."
