for any abnormalties back? Its just im 7weeks and a few days and was thinking about telling my kids that i was pregnant when i get to 3 months but was wondering if all the tests should have been done and are back by then?(think they are called triple screening tests etc) So far it seems like it varies dependent on what part of the country you live. I had my first two over a decade ago, cant remember when i had their results back and even if I could its probably all changed since then!! Thanks all

congratulations firstly! i found out i was preggers when i was 8 weeks and had blood tests when i was 10 weeks because i had to go to the doc first then make an appointment with a midwife so it took a while, then i had an abnormality scan at 20 weeks. hope this helps

You have the triple screening tests at 16 weeks, and I think the results take a week or so. So unlikely you can hide your pregnancy until then!
You could have a nuchal scan at 12 weeks instead.

I had blood work done at 12 weeks, to check my blood type, see if i was anemic, things of that sort. The triple screening was not offered to me until 18 weeks pregnant. That is optional i believe. It was for me. Good luck! Hope that helps.

That test is done between 18 and 20 weeks.

well i got my triple test back aroung 18 weeks, but then you go for the 20 week abnormality scan to check everythings ok to. Long time to wait!

Well I got two negative results before it showed a positive when I was 12 weeks. I still got a period, but it was very light.

they normally take about 7 to 14 days to come back

i had mine today, I'm 11 weeks but i think usually they are done on you first appointment with your midwife, first of all you have to see a doctor to confirm your pregnancy them he'll tell you to make an appointment with the midwife.

13 weeks is a good indicator, if Nature was going to do something horrible, it's usually by then!!! Good Luck.
