Not sure exactly what you are asking, but I had them when I was pregnant. Make sure your OB is aware of this because it could be a symptom of something more severe. Drink plenty of water and keep your feet elevated as much as possible. I didn't loose the swelling in my ankles until about 1-2 weeks after delivery.

if you have swollen ankles then rest your feet up on the sofa.
If the rest of your body starts to get puffy esp your face see your doc as it can be signs on bad things.
my legs, ankles and feet started to swell at about 6 months and after i had my daughter for the first week i thought the skin on my feet was going to split because they were so swollen, i couldnt even bend them!
you might find a massage helps so the blood starts flowing more and and the fluid can drain away.

You need to keep a check on how swollen your ankles are getting. Lying down with your feet raised helps, try eating celary as this will help rid you of fluid without taking medicine. If in doubt check with the GP, or, firstly go and get you BP checked regularly from the chemist.

sometimes it can be a sign of high blood pressure, but when i was pregnant my ankles were always swollen especially if i was walking or standing a lot, i drank lots of water and tried to sit with my feet up as much a i could, but check with you doctor to make sure it is not high blood pressure causing it, but i think it is pretty common sometimes my ankles got huge but after i sat a nd put my feet up or after a nights sleep they would go down, just another one of the lovely symptoms of pregnancy, but it is all worth it in the end, good luck!

Get checked out by your midwife. Swelling can be a sign of pre-eclampsia esp if accompanied by some or all of the following - headaches, high blood pressure and protein in the urine . To be safe, contact your midwife asap, they will always check this sort of thing out. However, swelling is quite common so dont panic - it may just be swelling due to the additional baby weight!
