I'm currently 14 weeks 1 day pregnant and my next ultrasound is scheduled for January 18. Do you think I'll be able to tell the sex?

Most likely not. Sex usually can not be determined by ultrasound until somewhere around the 18th week. Although it is possible, the accuracy is not as high, if it is done before the 18th week.
I'm wondering why you are having an ultrasound at 15 weeks? Perhaps a previous pregnancy with problems?
OB's usually wait until around the 20 week mark as that is when you can get a good clear view of everything.

Yeah you should be able to see the sex, it depends on the way the baby is lying, and the quality of the scanning equipment. I had my scan at 15.5 weeks but there was warnings up telling parents not to ask as they arent allowed to tell anymore in scotland, but the quality wasnt that great either. The good quality equipment should be able to pick up sex easily. So Congratulations!!!

Probley not, if you want a great experience, try a 4-d Ultrasound at around 27 weeks, they are not that expensive any more and I got to see my baby in Living color. After she was born we compared pic to new born pic, it was amazing how accurate it was, looked just like her.

i had my 16 weeks ultersound and was not able to tell the sex yet. but the doctor told me he will be able to tell better at 20 weeks. i can't wait. im 18 weeks now. good luck i hope you get to see the sex.

it's possible. I found out I was having a boy at 16 weeks pregnant.

Probably not......very slight possibility if it is a boy, but I wouldn't count on it. We could not tell at my 17 wk ultrasound.
