My daughter seems super-human....she pushes our rocking chair completely across the room, and if she is standing on the ground, she can grab a table (above her head), and pull herself so that her nose is at the table level, and her feet are dangling 2 inches off the ground....and STAY that way for about a minute!
We bought her a "walker"....a lawnmower-looking toy that she can push around and learn to walk...she picks it up and tosses it!
She weighs 20 pounds and is 28 inches tall, right in the middle as far as percentiles.
Is this pretty normal?

If she has been subjected to gamma rays or been bitten by a radioactive spider she could actually become a super-hero.

"Normal" - maybe not. Something to worry about - no. My daughter was and still is the same way. She just turned two and it's pretty bad when I am unable to wrestle something away from her that she shouldn't have. Since she was first able to grasp and have basic motor control, she has been extremely strong. The pediatrician was surprised and a little in awe, but said that it was nothing to be concerned about - some kids are jsut really strong.

hey,ya shes normal, but i dont know my girl did that too. Since she can walk, about 9 months old, she can push the coffee table from one dise to ther other.Since i was a kid family called me bam bam(girL). But since she was one and a half she can pick up me 5 pound weights, both. She can hold our groceries now and help us, se is 2 and 8 months old. People are amaze when they see her pick up things at the store. She even can psh me sometimes. She has a big build like me, she isnt tiny, but she isnt chubby, she looks like shes 4 years old, and shes tall. She acts like 4 years old also, and says full sentances, sings full songs. and shes smart, counts up to 20 and sais full abcs.Dont worry what she has is good, and healthy. My daughter is 32 pounds right now, she was your daguhter weight at her age. And was born 21 inches long. Oh ya her her teeth grew fast too. I was actually bor with one tooth, haha.

My youngest one is the very same way! He has seemed to be extremely strong since he was old enough to grab things with his hands. I know that my older ones did not exhibit such strength when they were little....maybe the pre-natals we took with these young ones really had some kick to them! : )~

Sounds like you have a superhuman child. All children develop differently with strength and size. Talk to her pediatrician. Sounds like she is a healthy little girl. Congratulations!

Kids constantly surprise me with what they can do. Sounds pretty normal to me, this is one kid who will be a little monkey of a two year old though. You'll have your hands full.
