Pregnancy & Parenting - 6 January 2007

Nothing is wrong, I am just dizzy, tired, and near fainting alot.. but the pregnancy is going well and I am in my 30's. I am frustrated with people thinking that the pregnancy is not going well, just because I am off of work... if I had a sitting down job, I would be there... How can I stop giving this impression to people that the baby is not ok?

I am 14 weeks pregnant and I just started spotting tonight like a brownish red just very light but still concerns me at this point the doctor said that this would be normal after intercourse but i didn't have intercourse. Has anybody else experienced this

I have recently suffered a miscarriage. The doctors think I was up to 8 weeks pregnant. I didn't know I was until Monday and then Tuesday I was attacked with a knife and pushed against a wall and then started bleeding straight after and had severe stomach pains. After most of the night at the hospital I was told a few days later that I have a bicornuate uterus and that this is probably the reason why I miscarried. I don't know what to do. I can't cope with anymore.

Anyone have any home remedys for a really bad sun burn??
i went tanning w/ my friend the other day and no one told me that my bed had new bulbs...well i went for 20 minutes and i got burnt kinda bad. its not to the point where it is blistered but it is pretty close. i really need something because it hurts when i lay on my sides, back, and my stomach. and it also hurts to sit because it is on the back of my legs. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!

Ok she is only 6 pounds 10 ounces and 19 inches long she is tiny and all she wants to do is eat, eat, eat about every 2 hours she drinks 3 whole ounces of enfamil Lipil the already made bottles and she stiill wants more when she's done is that normal or is she just not getting full?

i'm getting a pedicure tommarow and i'd like to know ur opinions on wat color i should get it........ last time i got french tips (on my toes) and they were really nice, but i'd like to try sumthin different..... and since not many ppl will see my toes (its winter) then i will get any outlandish color!!! My 10 month old son, sleeps in his own crib. He has never slept through the night. Since birth he has always got up every 4-6 hours, until this day he is the same way. Like clock work he is up @ 3:30 a.m. Usually after drinking a bottle is goes right back to sleep. When he's put to bed he drinks about 6 oz. of Enfamil Lactofree Formula. I just thought by now he should be sleeping through the night. Any suggestions would help! Thank you!

I am 29 weeks pregnant and am craving a lot of sugar, like ice creams, cake, chocolate, anything really sweet. I have put on 8 kilos since I got pregnant, which I think is quite a lot, but it doesnt really bother me as much as the affects on the baby. I got tested for gestational diabetes and I dont seem to have it, so what are the affects on the baby, and what can i eat instead

omg...so i just heard that fox was cancelling the O.C. Is this true. If it is then i am SO mad. My mom just told me that she heard it on t.v. How can this happen?! It's like the best show ever. How can they just get rid of the O.C.! Please tell me that this is not true.

I haven't worked since my first child was born almost 6 yrs ago. I am going to start work again in about 2 weeks my youngest is almost 4, but I'm ready! So anyway I have no idea what they charge for day care. And if it differs by age of the child or what.
Or if where you live makes a difference, I live in Kansas if it does.

... on my butt???

Yes, I know it sounds funny, but that's what I suspect I'm having. This morning I was looking at my butt and I saw these purple-red stripes... I was wondering what the heck that is... and then it hit me... Please tell me that I'm wrong ;)

I'm almost 6 months pregnant and I don't have any strech marks on my stomach (but I guess that's coming too?) and I'm skinny and my butt didn't get any bigger, so why? How is that possible?

Ok...I guess this is my dilema...my husband has a 14 year old son from a previous marriage...less than a month after me and my husband got married he moved in with us...a year later he was out of my house...but then shortly later my husband deployed so we've never gotten to be "newlyweds". I don't think I had ever been that stressed before in my life...anyway...my husband and I want to have kids of our own...however, my sister-in-law seems to have it in her mind that b/c we could not "handle" a teen (he had not lived with his dad since he was a toddler) that we should not have our own kids...how do we get her to understand that if we have our own kids that they would be raised how we want to raise them...and they would grow up with our "routine" and not someone else's which would make it easier in the end...I know this is long...but basically how do we respond to her saying that we "shouldn't" have kids...

I am getting ready to have a birthday party for my daughter who is turning 5. I have been trying to find some fun games that don't cost an arm and a leg, but are fun and age appproprate. Most of the stuff that I have looked at is either to young for her or to old. Does any one have any ideas on how to keep them entertained and not break the bank?

harming the baby. I feel like it compresses him together and he is not getting any oxygen. I'm able to keep my Ensure drinks down so I know he is getting the nutrients that he needs, but is my throwing up effecting him? It seems like it would since my stomach is contracting together and seemingly putting pressure on him.
