At this point your baby probably weighs about 2 lbs. at 19 weeks you said the tech said the baby weighed about 11 oz. and the website i found said that at 19 weeks they usually weigh 8 oz. They say that at 24 weeks the baby weighs 1.32 lbs. so i just added a few oz (if you are having a big baby). Just a guess but i think it's close.

Not really. The day before I gave birth, I had a sonogram. The doctor and nurse both said I would have about a 7 1/2 pound baby. When I checked in the hospital, the nurse said we would deliver a small baby. A few hours later, they were betting on the weight. She was almost 9 pounds, not too small. You can't tell by weight gain, some women retain more water.

They will start to measure your uterus to make sure the baby is growing properly. If those measurements are off they may give you another ultrasound to ensure proper growth. The weight they give you is an estimate and you can't go by how much weight you've gained. When I was pregnant with my first they were worried that he wasn't big enough so I ate and ate and gained weight but they were still concerned. They estimated he was about 5 lbs. by the ultrasound but he was close to 8 lbs. when he was born.

Fundal height is an indicator of growth . Fundal height is from the top of the pubic bone to the top of your pregnant belly & should measure in centemtrs. If you are 24 weeks pregnant then your fundal height should be between 23-25cms. Hope this helps. Other than that i don't know of any other way.

You can't tell for sure. Even an ultrasound is an estimation. (A very good one...but one none the less) Wait for another one, or have the doctor measure you.
