Need Advice and second opinion?
So me and my bf been together for 3 1/2 years, since i was 15, for the last 8 mo. we have been in the process of breaking up,still tryin to hold on the the little bit of love thats left, so i packed my bags and went to hawaii to live and really think about what i wanted out of life... not promising to come back but not saying i wont. 2 months in to me leaving i find out i am 10 weeks pregnant.
so we talked about trying to work things since things arnt all about us...it worked for maybe a cuple days but i jus realized i just dont want to be with this man well i should say boy any longer, ive grown up and hes still the same person i met when i was 15.
there is no way we can work this out, there is no trust or respect in this relationship, i dont belive i can ever trust him again ive been trying for ever but he jus keeps giving me more and more reason to dis trust him
why wont he try to get his stuff 2gether not 4 me 4 our child? and should i try to raise my child by myself?

i just had my membranes stripped today im 38 weeks and 2cm 100% effaced -1 station...i had it done at 2 and now im getting what i think are contractions...they just feel like realy bad cramps when my belly gets hard. what do u think?

Im thirteen and just found out i was pregnant. The only bad thing is i slept with my boyfriend and his best friend. I just told them both and my boyfriends best friend is supporting me even if it isnt his baby but they hate each other and my boyfriend is calling me yelling saying how much he hates me and the baby is a curse

Please this is serious I have been having these crying outbursts lately I feel as if I am under attack one little thing goes wrong and I totally lose it . I really do not want to bother all of my friends and family with it and my hubby feels awful for me I am a mess . Of course some of lifes difficult situations aren't helping any . Finances and other parts of being a grown up with my second child on the way . I have never been unstable and didn't even lose it like this with my first pregnancy does it go away or get better I am almost 16 weeks along HELP!!

My husband of 5 years and I picked out a boy and girl name for our first child about 2 years ago.

We have been friends with a married couple for years, the wife just gave birth to her second child and named the baby "Alexander", which was the name we picked out too.

I am now pregnant with our first baby and we don't know if it is a boy or girl yet, but my husband still wants to name the baby Alexander if it is a boy no matter what. I want to also, and our friends knew too that it was a special name for us.

Do you think it will be weird hanging out with our friends when we will possibly have sons that are a year apart with the same names?

Should we still name our baby boy the name we have wanted for years?

My wife and I will be having a child soon and we do not want to move to the suburbs. Do you think Chicago (mainly on the North side - Edgewater area) is a good environment to raise a child in? We feel safe but is it safe for children? Are Chicago schools good? Should we send our child to a private school...any recommendations?

Everyone has been super informative. Ok if you haven't read my other questions, I"m dealing a situation where my boyfriend fathered a 5 month old son (yes dna test was given) the mother is on welfare, has one 5 year old son, and is now pregnant with twins, she will before the birth be married to the father of the twins. If my boyfriend decides to sign over his rights, I know the child support payments will continue, though if her new husband adopts him (which was an option given to him by the mother) will that change the situation?

I have read articles saying that not having the baby overtired will help. So I have created a bedtime ritual for her. She has 2 naps (about 2hrs each) during the day and go to bed around 8pm everyday. She could fall asleep by herself for each sleep including the naps, the only thing is she keeps waking up. During the night when she wakes up, I would breastfeed plus bottle feed her each time. She takes about 3-4 oz. She couldn't take more than that. It is like an automatic alarm in her mind that she would just wake up exactly 2 hours to have a feed. How could i extend her sleep?

I have had an upset stomach every day this week but as soon as i eat i'm fine, but i dont know what the rules are on figuring this out. I swear i haven't had sex in a month and I was sick about a week ago, with a bad cold/stomach virus and i really got my stomach out of whack. I have stomach ulcers as well. I'm just wondering if maybe i still have some of the stomach virus left? Maybe i'm over-reacting? I don't handle stress well at all, and I just started a new job, same company just different job. Could it just be nerves?

okay i thought i was pregnant so on wedneseday i went to the emergency room. come to find out, im not pregnant(thank god) but my stomach feels bloaded and tighter. I am 5'7 and started off weighing 158.
I went to the Dr. yesterday and he said I gained 3 pounds since my last monthly check up, the month before that I had lost 1 pound.
I am just wondering if I am on the right track, I'm not being overly careful with what I eat or excercise and I'm hoping that 40-50lbs isn't going to all of a sudden sneak up on me!!

my labor was induced on my original due date and a few hours later i gave birth to a baby boy, perfect and healthy in everyway, but he only weighed 6 lbs, 0.5 oz. and he was 20 inches long. is this an alright birthweight or is it a possibility that he was premature? his pedi didn't act very concerned about the weight & his lungs were perfect, but as a first-time mom, i am over-analyzing everything and need opinions lol.

I'm currently 19 weeks pregnant and have a lot of discharge. It isn't yellow it's whity but there seems to be a lot of it. Has anyone else had this? I don't have a disease, been checked and it isn't an infection either. Also what is the consistency suppose to be like? I had a c-section 9 months ago and i just want to know if after a while you have to get it checked by a doctor or not further check is needed. I had it checked 2 times after I was released from the hospital but I never asked after the last visit if i needed to come back in the future just for a check. also, is there any possibility for a c-section to open unexpected?
