No, blood typing is a lot more complicated than you think. DNA is 100% accurate, it is the only thing a court will accept as well.

No, you can't tell paternity by blood type. Many combinations are possible when two blood types are combined. The only way to determine paternity is to have DNA testing done, which will tell whether or not the person is excluded as being the parent.

NO, you have to do a DNA test to prove paternity! Otherwise they would have been able to prove paternity years and years ago. Many people have the same blood types. Even rare blood types, could be some other guy with the same rare type. So even that isn't proof! Only a DNA test will show proof.

Well, it depends. If you use a punit square, you COULD rule someone out. A punit square will take both parents blood types and tell you which blood types are possible for their offspring. For example:
If Mom or Dad is an AB and the other parent is an O, the possible outcome for their child would be 50% chance of baby being a B, 50% chance an A. If child was an AB..well, one parent wouldn't truely be the parent. It isn't a very good way to test for paternity though.

No. The blood type can only tell you who the father isn't. You need DNA testing for an accurate paternity test.

by just the blood type? no. But by a blood test, yes. If the kid doesnt have you or the guys blood type, that means nothing. A DNA test is the only way to know.

In some cases, depending on the blood types involved and if there is a limited number of possiblities (like 2 or 3 dads at most, I am not saying that this is your situation, I am just saying it happens)

No, and it can't be used to eliminate possible paternity either. The only sure way is a DNA test.

You could prove that someone WASN'T the father, but can't prove he WAS - need DNA for that.
