the bleeding came back afterwards but not as heavy as my normal flow.
the remaining days were also light,actually skipped a day.

Honestly, I highly doubt you are pregnant. Sperm can stay in your body for about 4 days and the egg is only able to be fertilized for 24 hours. Your most fertile days occur two weeks after your period. The fact that you were on your period says that you were shedding your lining and that you would be most fertile two weeks after the period you were on. So your cycle was starting with the first day of menstruation. Fertile days fall between day 14-21. Hope that helps!!! If you are trying to conceive there are several websites that can chart your fertile days. Knowing when you are fertile can help you conceive as well as avoid pregnancy. Either way, GOOD LUCK!!!!! Oh and having sex while on your period isn't nasty. It's a personal choice. To avoid all the sticky dried blood, try the shower. As long as your partner doesn't mind. *wink. ENJOY!!!

You can test in about 2 weeks or so and get an accurate reading, it may be later if you ovulated several days after you had sex. However, if it was really your period your chances of being pregnant are not that high.
About the blood test, those are typically not accurate until you are 8-10 days past ovulation. And you could have ovulated several days after you had sex, so the person below is not correct.

I have been told you cannot get pregnant when you are on you're period because this is when the lining of the uterus sheds I have also been told it is not very sanitary and can lead to infection ( not that I've never done it) hope I was helpful if you are really worried wait a couple of weeks and take a test.

You can't get pregnant if you have sex during your period. You are only fertile for about 3 days during any given cycle - 14 days before your next period. Below is a great website to help you understand about fertility.

If you have sex while on your period, you are more than likely NOT pregnant. Even though you can technically get preg at anytime of the month, during your period is your LEAST fertile time.

They can do a blood test any time to find out(i'm pretty sure ..because i had one when my pee test was negative and blood test was possitive)But it could be a few weeks for a urine test to pick up.They hardly ever picked up on my pregnancies...i have had 3 kids

its hard to get pregnant while having sex on your period (but not impossible) youll have to wait about 2 weeks before a home pregnancy test will show if you are....
