Pregnancy & Parenting - 3 January 2007

I came off the pill 5 months ago as we are ttc. My cycles are always between 29 and 36 days long, so i never know when i ovulate. I know to look out for cervicla mucus,and do your bbt.,and ovulation kits etc. It's getting me and my partner down as we have been trying for a while know and we are both in our early 20's (so at a good ripe age). Im taking folic acid and stopping drinking alcohol as from this month,as we are really serious and cant wait to start a family.
Anybody had a similar problem?

I had a beautiful baby boy 10/26/06 who is intelluctually developing fast. I was dealing with really bad depression during my pregnancy and I thought I was doing fine since I delivered. Acourse a couple days up to a week afterwards i was crying for no reason but i knew that was from my hormones. but now im crying again, extremely paranoid of my boyfriend leavin me again for someone else and bein stuck with this baby all by myself, i feel like no one understands me or what im goin thru, my moods go from one extreme to another several times a day, i flip out on ppl for no reason, i feel i look disgusting, i had sex 3 times since having my baby during i feel dirty and ashamed and i have thoughts of my boyfriend having sex with other ppl but i know i need to please him due to the fear of him goin else to be pleased. i feel like my life is tumbling down and i have no control over it and im afraid of taking my boyfriend and my child down with me.not often i have thoughts of hurting my child

My 18 month old changed day care yesteday-he was at his previous center since he was 10 weeks old. We had an hour long commute each way and needed to send him to a center closer to home. The center he is at is very good, well recommended, the staff is great to him when we have gone to visit. When I am there he has a great time-plays, snacks, interacts with the other kids. But when I leave-melt down. He cried all day yesterday. Today, when I left it was a bad scene-him screaming while his teacher held him and suggested playing with the other children. I have stayed a bit in the morning, then tell him "mommy has to go to work but I will come back for you" and give a kiss and leave. I am going to go pick him up early the next few days so it is a shorter day for him. He loved his old school so much-but it wasn't practical to keep driving him 120 miles a day plus I can't look for a job close to home until he is settled in day care closer. Just feeling guilty for leaving my sad little guy!

If half of the united states is overweight.Then where are the books for plus size women who are healthy during their pregnancy. I have no diabetes or anything wrong my pregnancy is healthy. So where are the books that just cater to healthy pregnant women who are plus size

I recently looked at tooth whitening strips and the packaging warned against using while pregnant or breastfeeding. I recently considered buying a moisturizer with self tanners but there was no information regarding safety of the product. Logically, I thought if it's unsafe to put whitening agents on your teeth, it might be unsafe to put anything unnatural on your skin.

I didn't purchase the product, but would consider it if it's safe.
I am awaiting a response from the manufacturer, but if they want to sell a product, they would choose studies in their favor. What are your thoughts?

We set her alarm and set her clothes out the night before, so all she needs to do is shower, brush her teeth and hair and put deodorant on before getting dressed and heading out the door. I drive her to school as we live to close, but far enough away that i do not want her walking on her own. I can see helping her get out of bed and giving gentle reminders but lately it has turned into me having to follow her around like a nag reminding her to do every single thing she needs to do. It makes for stressful mornings for both of us, and I hate the thought of her school day starting off like that....any suggestions on how to make her more independent so as she does not have to go to school feeling crappy?

We are making a list for her to use everyday that has all of her expectations on it, so that she will have something to look at and know...I have to shower, get dressed, brush my teeth...so on and so on.

My son is going to be 1 in 2 weeks and I think it is time for him to lose the bottle and pacifier. He uses a sippy cup every now and then, but sometimes he does not want to drink his formula unless it is in a bottle. He will throw his sippy cup and demand through temper tantrums for his bottle. Should I just not give him his bottle and have a take it or leave it attitude about the sippy cup? Then there is the pacifier. It is like my son's security blanket. He can not sleep with it. I think it is time for no pacifier during the day only at night, to slowly get rid of it. But my mom does not think it is time yet so she will give it to him during the day.....what should I do? Should I let him have it until he is ready to give it up or should I let him have it for a little longer? Maybe I should just take it away?

I had sex on the llth of December of 2006 and it was unprotected and it was also one of my ovalating days, but when my period came on the 27th it was normal I had heavy bleeding and everything was normal, i don't think it is possible what do you think, I am 18 years old and don't worry about me having unprotected sex because I'am married

I have 3 children and never had an ultrasound before the 4th month. Everyone on here says they had them in the first few weeks. Did you request an ultrasound? It has been 6 years since my last child. Are they just routine at your first visit now?

Me and my girl recently had some issues and we split up for 3 months.recently we got back together and all the sudden she is pregnant.she is due late april early part of may.I thought a woman carried for 10 months rather than 9
is there any truth to this? also if she is due late april early may when would she have conceived? We got back together late july.any help would be greatly appriciated .

I am 24 years old and recently found out i am pregnant with my second child. My first child and i have been on our own since her birth, she just turned two and is the light of my life. I was planning on going back to school and getting a new car and finally starting my life right and now i have another life to worry about. I have thought about abortion only because i know it is the easiest way out. i have never had one and dont know that i ever could.
