I know I am overly tired because I am pregnant but it is starting to effect my job, I can barely wake up for work in the morning and I've been late the last couple weeks. Any suggestions for helping me have more energy or not be as tired?

I was wicked tired too when I was pregnant. I have a pretty easy going job so it was easy. However I went to bed every night at 7. I really did. My boyfriend stayed up and slept on the couch most of the time. Its normal. There is not much you can really do. They say walking will give you more energy during the day, but who wants to do that while they are pregnant. Enjoy it while you can it goes by fast and before you know it you have a full time job on top of a full time job. Good luck to you!

i would suggest a nap during the day if possible i would sleep for 13 hours and still wake up tired if you can take a nap on youre lunch break or after work it may help then you most likely will still be ready for bed i was fortunate i guess and i have chose not to work my job was so physical that it was killing me by the time i quit i was not in any position to go looking for another job as i stayed sick so much and had no energy i hope it all works out for you because now i miss my job i know once the baby is born i will be at home for a long while so i shouldve taken advantage of being out and about while i could to each his own

You can try all of the things everyone is suggesting, but when it comes right down to it some women are just tired during pregnany. I have good days and bad. I am a health nut. I walk everyday and do yoga everyother day. I live in Spain so I get alot of sunshine and a siesta daily. Im still so tired I can hardly keep my head up right now. I think i need a bath.

I know exactly how you feel. At the job I have I work 10 hr days from 8am-7pm. Its rough, but I am toughing it out because I know its all going to be worth it in the end. Since I cut back on my caffenine ALOT I have just been eating a good breakfast and drinking as much water as I can and that seems to help. Best wishes to you!!!

Go to bed earlier...I did. As well as I walked 30 minutes everynight before dinner. But be sure to go to bed early, it helps.
I'd get home about 5:30 or 6, go for a walk, cook dinner, eat, clean and I'd be in bed by 8 pm or sooner. I'd skip the walk if I was just too run down.
