Actually having those procedures done will (or are supposed to)increase your chance of getting pregnant.

Because fibroids can grow back, it is best to try to conceive as soon after a myomectomy as is safely possible.

Experts recommend:
Waiting 4 to 6 months after surgery to allow the uterus to heal before pregnancy.

A hysterosalpingogram after 4 months to check the uterus and fallopian tubes before any infertility treatment.

Good Luck!!

It depends on a lot of things, like how extensive the fibroids were, the kind of sugery.

However, even in some cases where a woman has had their uterus COMPLETELY removed they have gotten pregnant and carried a baby. As long as you ovulate you can get pregnant. In some cases the egg has implanted on the cervix and in some it has implanted on the intestines. Granted they had to have c-sections, and usually the baby is taken before 40 weeks. But if you have eggs there is always a chance.
