My son is 19 months old and weighs 26 lbs. I am not sure of how many inches tall he is but I think normal. People are always saying oh look at that little chubby boy, and oh he's so cute and chubby, blah blah blah and I think he looks great, I dont think he is chubby. How do I tell people that I dont like them calling him chubbya ll the time, what if it continues into when he can understand what they are saying? I dont think that its healthy for a young child to get the idea that he is chubby. PLus I dont think that he actually is chubby.

APGAR scores not available. No post-natal difficulties until one month of age when she developed (what sounds like Furbaugh condition) and was admitted to the hospital. No CNS infection was found. She has never had difficulty with feeding or feeding schedules.

I am 4 months pregnant...it took my doctor over 2 1/2 weeks to let me know that I have CIN 2 and she offered little advice or reassurance afterwards. I think I am being treated differently because I don't have health insurance but I am literally paying for everything on the spot as I go (so they're getting their money!!). She didn't even want to give me an ultrasound so we could determine the baby's sex...all my friends have had this done, no questions asked. Also, everytime I go to an appt. they ask if my Medicaid has gone through yet, like I would keep that from them and just keep paying for the fun of it. They call me about it 4 times a week asking about it. I wish they were more concerned about me than the money considering everythig is paid for. I mention things to my doctor about being stuffy, having bloody noses, ect and she just says, "yep." I look everthing up online or read books to find out what's going on with me-my doc doesn't care!!

My daughter who is 16, has just got back together again with her boyfriend. He is a manipulating, unemployed, substance abuser, who knows it all. He is 19!! My daughter was well aware of how I felt about this lad, and when they broke up I had a hearty chat with her and she understood all that I had to offer, and she agreed that he dictated their relationship! I came home today to find him in my house ... he had previously been banned as I have a two year old! Don't need his influences around her! So I told my daughter that he wasn't welcome here ... she has stormed off in a total rage, calling me a '*****' ... what do I do??? She is still at college and in my mind still my responsibility!! Do I call the cops ... or do I just wait? ...

I live in an apartment complex and my 9 mth old son just started screaming for the fun of it. I am not sure whether I should try and get him to be a little quieter (or is there really any point since he is so young) or just let him belt out his new vocal abilities! Do you think other tenants would complain? He goes to bed at 7 pm and gets up at 7 am so he only yells during the day.

I'm planning to put my baby (when it arrives) in washable nappies. All the waterproof outer pants I've seen are lined with polyurethane.

Is this a safe substance? Does anyone know whether it's toxic? As well as environmental and cost reasons, I'm not keen to envelope my tot's genitals in all the nasty chemicals that go into disposable nappies, but would like to feel sure that polyurethane is okay.

Well I just had a baby boy in June (1st child), so mine would be BGBG (boy - girl - boy - girl). Obviously we can't really choose the sex or birth order, just thought it's be fun to see what others would choose if they could! :)
I chose BGBG because I want one of each, but I also want each child to have a same-sex sibling. I would love to have 4 kids no matter what though! :)

I had my pap test done yesterday during my first appointment after confirmation of pregnancy 5 weeks ago, and I'm still sore. I've never had pain after a pap before. Is there any way to ease the pain? The only time I've had pain like this was 8 years ago when I had an abnormal pap and they had to take a biopsy of my cervix - but the pain didn't last more then a couple hours.

He has always wanted it since birth. When he is sleepy or in the carseat in town he has to have it. But I have to hold it in so he can suck it. I have tried MaM, nook, and the evenflo types, now he is taking the Playtex Ortho-Pro, it is the best for their developing gums and he sucks them all the same. Is he lazy or just spoiled. Or is he too young to be able to hold a good sucktion. He doesnt want it at night or any thing just during the day for naps and in the carseat.?

My nephew turned 10 months old on Dec. 20th. He doesn't crawl, reach for things, and can't even hold his own bottle. He doesn't say any words yet, either. He doesn't reach for toys or food or anything, just holds his arms up about half way and constantly moves his hands in an up and down motion. If you put him on his tummy to get him to try to crawl, his arms and legs go straight out and he screams. He just sits there with his mouth hanging open and drools. He can barely sit up on his own, too. I want to know what your babies are doing at this age. I really think something is wrong with him and I'm worried.

Ok got a question or two.

If 2 ppl are virgins & have never engaged in ANY kind of sexual activity with another person & have sex without a condom can they still catch any sexual diseases off one another?

Also is there a risk of catching anything from swapping body fluids even if it is the first time either have done this?

Last thing, considering the above questions, is the pill enough if no condom is used?

Thanks for your time.
