Girl I am right there with you! My son just turned 7 months today, and I still hate my stomach (I also had a C-section). Mine has gotten a tiny bit better with time, but I'm sure if I worked out it would help!
As far as clothes, I try to wear anything that covers the "flap" and sucks it in. My sister told me about something called "spanks" that you wear that is like a band around your tummy and hides it all - thinking about getting some!

Exercise works, but you need to work hard and long. When you think you've done enough, do more.
A woman at my gym had a C-section about 6 months ago and you can't tell she was pregnant. She leads a half hour abdominal class (no resting for 30 minutes of various types of crunches) once a week and works out on her own a lot though, so her results will be better than some one who doesn't work out.

Ok first of all I have had 4 c-sections and of course battling my flap. I do know that it will all depend on your size prior to baby whether or not you Can correct it without surgery. Most women who work out have to get a tummy tuck to have the excess skin removed. It is so stretched out and really depends on how the doctor stitched you up on the inside as well as the outside. Good luck its no fun having a saggy belly i know!

Mine has gone away. I had a c-section 5 years ago but i couldn't tell you when it went away. The scar is still there.
Now my sister had a c-section 11 years ago and that flap is still there.
I think it really has to do with the size of your stomach, my sister is a little bit overweight -not much- but i think that is why,I can wear low sitting jeans and nothing shows.

It will go away if you exercise regularly. Do abdominal strengthening exercises at least 4 times a week and you will start to see improvement in 3 weeks. It takes longer to get it to go away but it can happen if you are dilligent in doing your exercises. Good Luck!

It will go away with continued exercise. It is not easy, but you can get it to.
